    Screwdriver is just a normal flat one, the screws have a decorative hole in, but you don’t need a fancy screwdriver. I’ve started printing a basic one to use on my cases.

    My take on a ‘teardown’ backplate. It was basically a torture test for my printer, but i’m happy with how it came out (stringing aside).

    It’s definitely form over function, though it does add some extra back grip. As soon as the CMF Phone is available in my country i’d love to test it out for real.

          That looks pretty sick! Is it printed with just a large overhang? Maybe this could work very well as printed in 2 parts. Love the idea of locking the card down with the thumbscrew. Might steal that idea for my case too 😉

            FarhadHaque since they don’t come as part of the file, you have to figure that out for yourself and find the best way of integrating it into your design. There may be others here that can assist with that too. I’ve seen a couple of designs with integrated buttons that seem to work well.

              Still kinda dissapointed that the phone has no accessible I/O for the backplates, so no digital additions ig 😔

              Does anyone know where I can buy an accessory screw 😭 It slipped out my hand when I was fidgeting with it on the top of the roof

                FarhadHaque I’ve designed my own case and buttons that work well. I’ve uploaded a basic case with buttons to Makerworld.

                @“NNiekdeWit” I’ve thought of a version that should be easier to print using a slide out tray to hold the card.

                      Im surprised noone did a fully transparent back cover glass like (that replace the original one) to show the phone internal components like battery and the rest. Can someone make a rendering of it?

                      Prodigy Just designed something like this with a battery pack. It even has an AC plug to charge without an adapter! The model is available for download on MakerWorld here.
