Replaceable back covers, accessories, standard screw types - CMF Phone 1 is an awesome creative platform for designers, makers, 3D printers and more.
Since we have such creative community, for the first time we’ve pulled together some detailed documentation outlining the physical dimensions of a CMF by Nothing product, everything you could need to get started.
Whether you’re an experienced maker or a humble hobbyist, there are plenty of exciting opportunities with CMF Phone 1 … we might even explore producing some of your ideas, so be sure to show us what you’re working on!
What will you create?
CMF Phone 1 features replaceable rear cases which are secured using the common M2 screw type.
In addition, the Accessory Point on the bottom right corner lets you attach things using either the included Accessory Point Cover or any other M2.5 screw:
An ergonomic camera grip? A card wallet? An embossed rear cover? A lens attachment? - you’re only limited by your imagination!
And if you’re someone who works in 3D, we also have an .stl and an .stp of the basic rear cover for you to tinker with. Early tests by some of our members suggest this can be 3D printed as it is … I’m sure we’ll see some optimised files for printing emerge very soon.
