📱 Phone (2) - Nothing OS 2.6 Changelog

After updating to 2.6 i am experiencing lags and hiccups every few seconds. I am having a hard time typing due to the lags because the keyboard will think that I am holding the tap whenever it lags. When playing mobile legends I can hear a sound every time the phone lags that is similar to the sound of a pc when it is about to hang. I can also feel that the phone is getting hot and is having difficulty in charging. Can I revert back to previous version?

ToToAntonio I would say Xiaomi, Oneplus, .., etc would be some reasonable comparisons, technically even they would be an unfair comparison to some extent
I’m just going by numbers, Nothing may have a veteran team, but they still lack resources at this point to achieve anything of scale when compared to any well established brands you can think of
And comparing with apple would be like pushing it beyond comprehensible limits
Also, speaking of apple, personally I believe their updates are mostly smoke and mirrors. Those IOS/IpadOS updates are the perfect example of “Showing progress instead of making progress”. I’m stating this based on my experience with my Ipad, I still regret not going with a samsung tab to this day!

This is anyway just my take on this topic as a consumer and a software engineer. I could be wrong and others would probably have a completely different say in the matter.

Please do some improvement in camera… Zoomed photos are useless…. Please give so fps stability during games… Full-screen caller id will be a nice update… Moreover please do something about bluetooth connectivity… I am having the worst experience with bluetooth connectivity and it’s very annoying for a 40k+phone

new update was great but i expected that nothing 2 will get 90 fps in player unknown battleground (pubg) Firmware (bot)

Nick Lim pop up view is already available in phone 2 but battery and vivid feature are not have yet….it ll be come in next update i guess

Anonymous28 I am always happy with my Apple Products. Started with iPhone 3G up unto my latest. So if apple can roll out globally, it’s a benchmark that others can aim and work hard to achieve.

The mistouch prevention has been going nuts since 2.6 update and in WhatsApp , my messages don’t deliver in a group and do in a contact . I tried restarting but it didn’t work . I tried messaging from another device and WhatsApp worked on that device . Please help

ToToAntonio Personally I wish for Nothing to not take the apple route as they would have to use the greedy stairs to achieve that status.

But I do agree apple products are first class if you look past the issues

Our views may be different, but, at the end, I beleive we both want the same, i.e., a good experience from Nothing

I was getting 9 hours of SOT in 2.5.6. However, after 2.6, all social media apps are leaking battery in the background.

Tried uninstalling, cleared cache, restarted….Hard Reset is not an option for me as it is too much of work at the moment.

Firmware (bot) First tell me when will the update come in Phone 1????

CMF Phone 1 OS 2.6 has a SMART CLEANUP function, but why is it not available in PHONE 2 OS 2.6?

New update 2.6 is coming phone nothing phone 1 or not please tell.

If you are planning to send 2.6 update for nothing phone 1 please fix all the bugs which are coming in nothing phone 2 and 2(a).

Because now these updates are having lots of bugs as last update 2.5.6 I am getting in nothing phone 1 there are lots bugs in this update.

Please prepare clear operating system as you did while launch a nothing phone 1.
