MohammadWaqaarAhamad Yes! surely we do need this based on the processor.
📱 Phone (2) - Nothing OS 2.6 Changelog
Hello Nothing Team,
I’ve been facing a problem since I purchased the mobile.
Problem:
Video footages shot on Phone (2) is very jittery and super laggy when played on my PC desktop or any devices I transfer.
Expected results:
I expected a smooth playback in other devices (Including PC) when transferred.
Results I got:
Super Jittery and laggy video on playback when transferred to another devices.
FYI, I couldn’t find a way to fix it but there’s an alternate solution for this which I experimented with.
Import your recorded videos into the “inshot” video editor application.
Export the video
Now copy the video to your PC and open it with Adobe Premiere Pro or VLC Media Player
The video isn’t choppy after that. I hope this helps in your research to fix this issue.
Kindly take this as a priority as we can’t keep doing these detour solutions all the time.
(FYI, I also posted this in a discussion in our Nothing Community)
Cheers!
Still now 90 fps n’t supporting, shame nothing
Firmware (bot) Pls come up with a good camera update!! Zoomed photos are literally so bad. Post processing optimisation is not that good too in some cases. Our beloved phone 2 has all the hardwares required, but post processing photo doesn’t look good at all!! A Chinese phone of half the price, captures way better photos & zoomed photos. Pls pls come up with a good camera update & make phone 2 a camera beast.
Why nothing is ignoring Update for battery issue as many times anonymous apps drains battery and didn’t stop draining until forced stop in app settings.
Battery management is poor and shall be grateful if attempted in next update

Thanks for the update !! Still we haven’t received camera widgets in Nothing phone 2 and we could see that widgets available for Nothing 2a for a while @Rob is there any possibility to see camera widget in the next update
shinechandran bro leave Netflix aside. Hdr playback itself is not working in YouTube, vlc media player, hotstar etc
Netflix do have problem with new companies for bloatware agreement n all but in YouTube and vlc you have to hold the notification panel a little to see hdr working it works great with that but nothing is busy catering to budget phone users which is good for them but their flagship series will die same like realme
SudharsanChandrasekar I also have the same issue when recording in 60 fps and importing the file directly to Adobe Premiere. Solution: I started recording in 30fps (as it doesn’t jitter anymore with 30)

Nickman definitely agree bro….they should fixed camaera and battery instead of game things…very disappointed with nothing….nothing is nothing basically
Appreciated For the Enhanced Game Features
/ on the other hand I don’t have any issues related to Battery, I am getting a good battery backup after Factory Reset. (13-14 hrs even after gaming)

Recently updated the system to 2.6, the lift to wake and double tap to wake features have stopped working
Whenever i lock the phone the screen goes off with a stutter.
Also, when i pick up a call it automatically turns the screen off even if the phone is not at my ear
In general Mis Touch prevention has gone haywire.
Yesterday I just got the update & after updating the Phone 2 kinda felt smooth. But in the morning when alarm rang the device got hang & the touch wasn’t responsive at all…. I mean not even the power button was working. Hope it gets fixed soon.
And what an launch by CMF
Firmware (bot) I really like the fact that Nothing OS is finally getting features. Really amazing. It would be nice if you could add spatial audio support for all earphones and headphones instead of just CMF Buds Pro 2.

Same, no camera improvement again.
Nothing is actually doing nothing for camera improvement.
There is nothing meaningful, in this update.
Worst camera experience with Phone 2.
