Phone (2a) - Stop Update from installing?

Hello,

I am seeing many battery drain and notification issues on the OS 2.6 Update, I started the download and install of the update but I am thinking of waiting it out but it is saying that it will automatically install the update in 1 Day. How to stop this

Notme Hello,I too faced the same dilemma.When I purchased my Nothing phone 2a almost a month ago,It came with OS 2.5.4 and I was quite happy with overall performance of the phone.But as soon as the OS 2.5.6 rolled out,the phone forcefully updated my phone on a scheduled date.Since then idle battery drain has been a issue.Its such a pain in the A$$.The preference whether to update or not should completely be at our disposal.

Try clearing cache from apps>left corner three dots>show system apps>search for update>dynamic systems update>clear cache

These days, you can’t skip updates. I hate these force updates. You can trick the system to postpone the updates or something, but sooner or later you will get the notification that update has run.
