Watchpro 2 is failing to update to latest version
Watchpro 2 is failing to change watch faces
I just received the watch,
-downloaded and installed the app,
-paired the device to my phone and the app.
From within the app if I try to update the watch the watch disconnects and restarts before the update process begins. I get an error stating “disconnected, update failed” and the watch restarts . I confirmed that the watch shows connected prior to attempting to update, but the same error occurs and the watch restarts each time.
I have gone into settings on the watch and then system menu and reset from there, which factory resets the watch. I then went thru the process of pairing and connecting the watch to my phone/the app again but I encountered the same failure during the update process and the watch restarts.
I also tried installing a new watch face from within the app, it downloads and sends the file over to the watch, gets to 100% and fails.
I also restarted my phone and went thru the entire process above again.
I have a pixel 8 running android 14 with the June 5/2024 security update.
At this time my troubleshooting has been unable to resolve the issue, I am unable to update the phone or install different watch faces aside from the ones installed out of the box.
Anyone else having this issue?
