Hi Guys,
I have an interesting suggestion and question both at the same time for all the members of Nothing Community & from Carl & Nothing Team as well.
So, as we know the nothing is trying to make tech fun again. So apart from making it fun what about security? So, I have a suggestion for the company as to attract more person who are privacy oriented.
As we are having fun with Nothing OS customisations, why don’t we add a security feature in device linked with app lock & mobile lock.
Here I am referring to an app called LOCKWATCH. By using this app we can see who was trying to unlock the phone if he enteres wrong password again and again.
So the point is if we can add the same feature in our phones then it will be a new approach towards privacy. And beside that we wouldn’t have to use Third Party apps as we can’t trust them blindly.
So my suggestion is to add the same feature of Lockwatch app in nothing phone’s lock & app lock both. So that if someone tries to unlock & made more than 1 wrong attempt, we get notified over email and also in phone when we unlock it & see who that was. Just like call logs we can maintain wrong unlock attempt logs with photos/videos.
And in my opinion it can increase the user reliability on Nothing Phones. So, what is your take on this guys?
I just hope that this suggestion somehow reaches to Carl & we see it in future updates. Maybe in Nothing OS 3.0
Thanks.
