I have the same issue.

I cannot control my music through my cmf watch pro 2.
On the watch it says “Please play music on your phone” although I am already playing music via Spotify on my phone.

I tried the following things:

  • Reinstalling the CMF Watch App
  • Resetting the CMF Watch Pro 2
  • Unbinding the CMF Watch Pro 2 from the App

Nothing worked. Does anyone has any other suggestions I can try?

    I found solution on my Android Phone.

    1. Open your CMF Watch App on your phone.
    2. Open its “Device” tab.
    3. Tap “Notifications”
    4. Tap “Other Apps” on its bottom
    5. Check On to your music apps

    I got make it!

    dsvarun I fixed it. You need to go to the cmf watch app and then the notifications settings the go to the more apps section and turn on the notifications for your preferred music player
