Not getting notifications on CMF Watch Pro 2

Not getting notifications of call, whatsapp from my iPhone 14 ProMAX. Watch connected, notifications are enabled both cmf app and individual apps, background refresh ON. But still its not getting. I can call from watch, find my watch working, siri working from watch, camera too. But notifications !!?

The call notification seems to only work on iphone and not other device .

Im using nothing phone 2 and nothing cmf phone 1 but only normal calls but not whatsapp , but it work fine on iphones . It doesn’t make sence because Nothing CMF should work on , Nothing CMF .

I am new here so don’t know if someone aleeady adressed this, but there should be an easier way to mute and unmute the Watch Pro, without having to go in the menu settings.

Please introduce a silentmode in the quicksettings for the next update. For someone who works as a teacher this function is essential for me.

Is there any info on when we can expect update for our watches or cmf app? I’m facing some issues with the watch disconnecting from the app and some other issues, like resetting watch settings. Disconnecting might be related to how the ios is managing the apps, but resetting is not acceptable

So it’s been some time that i got my Watch Pro 2 and god this bluetooth disconnection is ruining the whole experience for me.

I don’t get calls, notifications,etc.

I must check in the app every hour to have it “kinda” work.

So guys what’s the solution here? can someone finally bring up a fix for this (definitely not you guys at Nothing, You just keep ignoring customer requests)

Should we ditch iphone? or the watch pro?

And yes, the app has the background refresh permissions and everything is updated.

I got a replacement for my first watch pro 2 as I had other issues too with it, besides disconnecting (Samsung S23). The second one doesn’t disconnect with same settings, as I just dumped the first watch from the app and connected the second. So I’d suspect it’s the watch that’s the problem, not the phone.

Solved

I had the same frustrating issues and finally solved it. So, in the app under notifications cmf has it’s own switch labeled sms. While you do need this switched on to receive the notification, this is really meant for people who use the sms app found of nothing and cmf phones, not Android and Apple users. You have to hit “more” under the notifications and scroll all way down until you see the messaging app that you actually use on your phone to switch it on. Once you’ve done this then, go back and adjust all your permissions. That fixed mine.

Hello,

I’m using the CMF Watch Pro 2 paired with my OnePlus 6T with Android 11. While Google Calendar notifications are successfully delivered to my watch, I’m not receiving any notifications for Google Tasks.

I’ve ensured that:

Notifications are enabled for Google Tasks in both the app and phone settings.
The CMF Watch app has all necessary permissions and is allowed to run in the background.
Battery optimizations are disabled for both the CMF Watch and Google Tasks apps.
The watch is not in Do Not Disturb or Silent mode.

Despite these settings, tasks with due dates and times do not trigger any alerts on the watch. Calendar events, however, notify me without issues.

Is there a known compatibility issue between Google Tasks and the CMF Watch Pro 2, or is there an additional setting I might have missed?

Yeah, I tested Tasks too, doesn’t work. Just like Tick Tick doesn’t. Nor does Samsung Calendar. CMF won’t fix this, don’t bother.
Fallback is to use Todoist. Those notifications are delivered to Watch Pro 2. Lousy, but true.

OKAY EVERYONE. I AM A I Phone User. And When I got This watch I wouldn’t Get any notifications or anything. BUT I FINALLY FIGURED OUT WHY.

On Your Iphone Go to Notifications - Show Previews, and then Select Always.

Hello, for some reason I have to manually disconnect then reconnect my watch to my bluetooth on the phone in order to make calls from the watch (otherwise shows: “Failed”)

They notifcation bubble shows always that theyre connected.

Does anyone else also face this issue?
