Hey, I just got the 2a and I love the phone. However I’m having issues with the screen being too sensitive. I’ll be scrolling a webpage or the screen, and it detects as a ‘click’.

Anyone experiencing this, or has any tips?

    We also have the same Problem with the 2a Bauhaus Edition from my Wife. Is the a setting how can Change?

    PatriciaMayer This is something I’ve experienced too coming to the 2a from the Pixel 6a. I did check screen touch sensitivity setting however it was in “normal” mode. And the 2a already has a screen protector fitted. I’ve reduced the number of false ‘clicks’ but still make unwanted ones. The only thing I can think of is to fit a different screen protector which will make it less sensitive

      I recently shifted from a OnePlus 7 to the Nothing Phone 2a. While I’m really enjoying the new device, I’m facing an issue with the touch sensitivity. The screen feels overly sensitive, and I keep experiencing accidental clicks while scrolling. I’ve noticed that others have posted about this issue as well, so I’m hoping it gets fixed in the next update. Has anyone found a temporary solution in the meantime?

        Still the same after the 240828-1906 update. I notice it isn’t screen sensitivity issue but more like performance issue. Wrongly register swipe as tab.

        Could this be the reason why 2a plus is launched shortly after the 2a?

        HeadHunter I know where’s the problem. In my old phones I can scroll through lists in any application even with my fingernail alone…. Here, the slightest contact of the fingernail with the screen, when scrolling, even at an angle (and it’s a wide smartphone), causes a click and not a scroll. There are already posts about this on the forums, unfortunately. After 15 minutes with the phone, I already knew that something was wrong with the touch.

          I am also facing the same problem with my nothing 2a. I got the phone 2 days ago (30th September 2024) and facing this issue sometimes it doesn’t detect a touch and sometimes it automatically detect some random clicks while I was only scrolling.

          Nothing need to fix this issue because it is very frustrating. I hope it will be fixed in the next update.

          I purchased the Nothing 2A phone on August 11, 2024, and received it on August 13, 2024. While I appreciate the phone’s stylish design, I have encountered touch screen being too sensitive that have impacted my experience.

          I have recommended this phone to three friends, but they are also experiencing the same problems and are dissatisfied with the performance. We all believe in the potential of your product, but it’s essential that these issues are resolved quickly.

          If this situation continues, we may consider switching to another brand with an exchange. I kindly urge you to address these concerns as soon as possible.

          Same frustration. Are there any solutions yet? This is probably the last Nothing phone I’d ever get. Disappointing coming from OnePlus team.

          Yes i do agree , the touch sensitivity is too High… and i’m really disappointed, kindly push an update to fix all display related BUGS , well ,I got this phone on 30 August,2024 by the recommendation of my friend

          Not only while scrolling, I also noticed the same issue while Glide typing gesture.

          Still no update to fixed it? This issue was came out for a long month. Why don’t the Nothing’s team noticed it even they’ve used the Nothing phone also.

          Also having this issue. Please, Nothing, fix it. This phone is amazing, just this little quirk standing in the way.

          I’ve used many 120hz display mobiles that also same problem like this. This is not only for Nothing Phone 2a.

            I am also facing the same issue in my 2a. I thought its a tempered glass issue and changed and still facing the same. Is this specific device issue or all 2a phones having same problem??

            Same issue for new phone(Nothing phone 2a) purchased on 31st October received on 2nd November…. Within few days touch issues Aries…. Please Nothing resolve this bug it irritating tooo much even basic functionality is bad…. Some other user shared his experience in YouTube here is the link
