I get the impression the phone (2a) plus is to be an economical upgrade, by which I mean Nothing is keeping the same physical geometry of the phone (2a), but are simply swapping out some of its components (RAM+memory, etc), releasing some new colours (or variations of), and it will perhaps go on sale in America and other regions where the (2a) is not available. I don’t expect Nothing will be adding things like wireless charging.

Posted by MediaTek India, suggesting the phone will be available there too. The MediaTek Dimensity 7350 Pro replaces the (2a)'s MediaTek Dimensity 7200 Pro (4 nm). The phone (2) uses Qualcomm SM8475 Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 (4 nm).
I thought the Plus might get 16GB RAM, but the tweet above indicates it will be 12, plus 8GB RAM booster.
