Am I the only one who is happy with these updates? For a 30k phone I am happy I am getting updates on time, earlier I used motorola and its the worst ever. Also, I have no battery issues with Phone 1 and the camera is as I expected it to be in this price change. I am happy I got a phone that feels so premium and bloatware free with timely updates. This phone is always worth the money. I tried Gcams but I guess they’re not made for phone 1 cos no big difference in clarity.

I’ve been reading comments on Discord about the abandonment of software updates for the first models once new models have been released. It’s true that new products need support too, but we shouldn’t neglect those who have the first models and still want system issues resolved or are waiting for new features. The first models, like the Phone 1, only have a year of software updates left, and with NothingOS 3.0 on the horizon, we hope they can finish ironing out any remaining bugs and implementing the latest features. With this, I want to say that the Nothing team should try to provide equal support to all models until the last day of updates.

To all those who are facing battery drain issues, try this ->

Charge phone till 100% and keep it plugged in for about 30mins. Let the update optimizations happen. I was facing horrible battery drain and this seemed to have fixed it. Didn’t have issues past 3 updates.

5after this update many nothing phone 1 users also me facing power button issue.. pressing power button screen wake up after 5-10 seconds …

ArunSebastian I will never understand what the issue is with the camera? I’ve had no issues. Same with battery life. A full charge lasts me a day and a half on average…

MadhuryaMMedhi i think raise to wake up and tap to wake up both options can’t work at a time

If you want tap to wake up then turn of raise to wake up and vise versa

Does anyone hear the difference in sound quality out the speakers of the phone (1) after 2.6 update? For me it’s louder and better optimised stereo sound?

Am very happy and proud when i purchase Nothing Phone 1., Still this is an amazing phone.

Recently i updated to OS 2.6… OMG!!!!

I cannot stop using this phone …. It has became very fluid… and the battery consumption is very stable now….

This is an amazing phone still and more proud and pride that i earn this phone in my hand….

But…

May be because am in Oman (High Temperature wheather) now …. There are some randomly heating issues especially when we are on streaming OTT paltform…. Phone getting warm very fast when i am out of AC or cool atmosphere…

I like camera,UI,apps optimizations. Transition Animations….
