My phone suddenly got updated to nothing os 2.6 overnight

Now I can’t make calls anymore, speaker doesn’t work as well and don’t even ask me about battery drain and random reboot.

Nothing os sucks tbh it’s better to opt out for any other brand

And no help from service centre as well

If you want tap to wake up then turn of raise to wake up and vise versa

    Is it only me? I cannot use NFC after the 2.6 update: "Your device doesn’t meet security standards to make contactless payments. It may be rooted (it is not) or running uncertified software (is it uncertified, Nothing?).

    Any ideas?

    2.6.1 is out for cmf phone 1, and it has a massive camera update.

    I am sure phone 1 won’t get any such major improvement in camera. End of the line.

    Hi guys I updated my nothing phone 1 to 2.6 version and I realized

    That I have to charge my phone 2 times in a day. So it seems there is a problem and I wanted to check my screen time and I shocked. I have only 2 h 55m screen time. And I don’t even use the phone for heavy process. I was using

    120 hz on screen and I think maybe that is the problem. I turned it off. Do you have any idea what can ı do about that problem?

      Need to be able to turn off noise reduction and photo smoothing so that photos are clear and detailed. Noise is not as bad as a blurry photo.🥲

      DevrimY_lmaz factory reset the device I also faced after 5-6 days then I did factory reset and now phone 1 lasts around 1-1.5 days on normal usage without gaming

          I was facing the same battery drain issue mine was lasting like 2.5 hrs to 3 hrs.

          I have decided to use the phone at 60hz now, now the battery backup is 6-6.5hrs.

          I also checked the battery health on accu battery it’s fallen down below 80%.

          I have changed over 10 brands of phones and I have never had to reset the device after an update.  Aki after every update they have, I have to reset the phone and set everything up, it goes straight to the bin.

            Hi, all.
            I received an OTA (2.6) on my NP1 around a month ago and I updated without thinking or waiting. Big mistake. Big surprise as soon as I wanted to pay using NFC. It did not work, every card I had set up was rejected. Removed them all and tried setting them up again without any luck. As I found out, my phone does not meet the security requirements. Now, I DO NOT have custom ROM, I DO NOT have bootloader unlocked, never tempered with the OS in any way. Still, I cannot pay using NFC.

            I hope someone can give me a hint so I can fix this and/or Nothing will rectify this issue in the next update. Please.

              I’m really liking the new upgrade that has allowed aod to display even when not charging it makes me be able to see my watch even when my screen is in lock screen. I love this feature if only the watch could be made to be customizable so that the size can be bigger? otherwise I like it so much.

              contact_istvan maybe resetting could help, though it would take some time. Or else you may wait for the next update. Sadly, there are only these two options available to you. Rollback won’t be possible.
