Today, we are announcing the end of Nothing Community Dots as of 16 August at 11:00 AM BST. We understand that some of you may have questions, so if you’re a Dot holder, please continue reading.
Nothing Community Dots was established back in 2021 when excitement and optimism about blockchain was at its highest. As a young company, Nothing took steps to ensure that we would be at the forefront of the movement. As time has gone on, however, we realised that we were too early, and that we could achieve the same thing without blockchain technology.
There will be no future perks or benefits to holding one of our NFTs. This pertains to token-gated chats, roles, discounts, and giveaways. Additionally, the dots.nothing.tech page and our Dots support email account will be closed.
We remain committed to our community members and as recognition for your support we are offering a final perk to our Dot holders - details on this below:

Why is this happening?
We’ve heard from many of you that NFTs are tough to understand and not very user-friendly. We want to make sure any future community tiers or reward programmes are easy to understand and accessible to everyone.
What happens next?
To thank our Dot holders, we are offering a final Dot reward:
Red Dot holders will be able to claim 1x Phone (2a) Plus in a colour of their choice (Grey or Black), and 1 x Nothing audio product, either Ear or Ear (a), in a colour of their choice.
We will be in touch with Red Dot holders via the Red Dot channel on Discord.
This offer is only for those with a Red Dot at the time of this announcement. Red Dots traded, transferred or newly merged/created after this announcement are not eligible - 2 August 2024, 12:30pm BST.
This offer can only be claimed by Nothing Community Dot holders who have verified their ownership using #dots-verify channel and been assigned the Red Dot Holder role on Discord.
The deadline to claim your reward is 16 August 11:00 AM BST.
Black Dot holders are eligible to claim a voucher for use on nothing.tech. Holders based in India will receive a voucher for use on Flipkart.
Codes can be claimed from today via the #member-rewards channel on our Discord.
These codes can only be claimed by Nothing Community Dot holders who have verified their ownership using #dots-verify channel and been assigned the Black Dot holder role here on Discord.
There are some limitations to this Black Dot perk, depending on your region.

Cannot be combined with other promos, only valid on Nothing brand smartphones and audio products.

Value: INR 4000
Dot holders will need to choose either a voucher for a Nothing audio product (Ear or Ear (a)) or a Nothing brand smartphone ((2a) or (2a) Plus).

Things to consider:
If you initially created a wallet using the dots.nothing.tech you may be able to transfer this to an alternative provider like MetaMask. For some accounts, this will not be possible owing to a change in web3auth.
The Nothing Ear Voucher token is no longer valid for any redemptions.
References to Nothing Community Dots here and on Discord will be removed, including the Community Dots channel and support documentation.
The website, dots.nothing.tech will be delisted and inaccessible on 16 August 11:00 AM BST at which time any accounts created there will also be inaccessible.
