I’ve been very disappointed lately. I have four black dots because I convinced three friends to buy the Phone(1), and you only get one voucher. Communication for early investors has never been good, and there weren’t many perks for dot holders except for the awesome dot chats. I don’t understand the quick release of the 2a+, which feels like a slap in the face for all 2a owners. I always thought the community was a big focus for Nothing, but it seems that as they gain more traction, they are losing this vision and, consequently, their loyal fans since day one. Noting that the voucher is just available this year which means it will not be usable for phone(3) most likely 🙁

Can’t you guys simplify the process by referring to Crowdcube investor list? This Black Dot is ridiculous from the get go and doesn’t benefit some of us in the other parts of the world down under! Have been missing out of the verified dot member area on Discord.

I would be very disappointed to be left out after being early supporter, investor, adopter and pre-launch Phone1 owner.

    I am a Nothing investor and had received a dot.

    I am not sure if I claimed it though. Since the whole process was not tricky, required to create wallets and associate them as much I can recall.

    What is the process to identify if I have got a verified dot ?

    As a pre-order bonus of Phone (1). I received a “Black Dot”. Didn’t think much of it at the time, but I claimed it and let it sit.

    It wasn’t until Ear (2) came out and there was a discount for Dot holders! I linked my wallet with Discord (after many failed attempts) and enjoyed the benefits since then!

    I agree with the sentiments of this entire process being a bit too difficult for your regular user. I am excited to see what may replace the Dots in future. But it has been a wonderful time and I feel like the strength of the Community can only go up from here 🔥

      I interested early through crowd cube and offset the phone 1 as soon as it was released. I think I’m a red dot holder… how do I find out please?

      Like others I never did anything with it as I didn’t understand the process.

            I am glad that those newer Community members who have only just got into Nothing, will have equal opportunities to contribute and thrive.

              I didn’t move it or connect to a wallet whatever, don’t even know how to do it… I just left it the way it was…

              The question is, should I be able to verify it like that via the #dots-verify channel (of course if there wasn’t that bug that’s been going on since last year)?

              And if yes, which wallet should I choose from that list considering I haven’t moved my dot and it’s on the above-mentioned page?

              Or this way would never work? Just so I know I don’t waste my time if this is the case… Thanks!

                  vanshaj13 There ain’t any solution. Most of us just had the dots in platform created accounts, and it never told us to backup the private key. Now, the public keys have changed and we can’t retrieve the private keys. Without that we can’t transfer the dot to any other wallet that Discord can connect to and verify 🙁

                    Vigneswar Same situation here. I think I might have a red dot as well but I have no experience and I’m not sure how or if I set it up correctly in the first instance. I would love to be able to redeem these though so I could pass on my Nothing Phone 2a to a future Nothing fan 🙂
