Nothing Community Dots - Update
As a pre-order bonus of Phone (1). I received a “Black Dot”. Didn’t think much of it at the time, but I claimed it and let it sit.
It wasn’t until Ear (2) came out and there was a discount for Dot holders! I linked my wallet with Discord (after many failed attempts) and enjoyed the benefits since then!
I agree with the sentiments of this entire process being a bit too difficult for your regular user. I am excited to see what may replace the Dots in future. But it has been a wonderful time and I feel like the strength of the Community can only go up from here 
Very kind of the final perk too, it is something that they didn’t have to give. So I appreciate that

I interested early through crowd cube and offset the phone 1 as soon as it was released. I think I’m a red dot holder… how do I find out please?
Like others I never did anything with it as I didn’t understand the process.

RapidZapper it shows the same for me as well, how do I redeem it?, also why am I getting private key public mismatch?

I am glad that those newer Community members who have only just got into Nothing, will have equal opportunities to contribute and thrive.

I didn’t move it or connect to a wallet whatever, don’t even know how to do it… I just left it the way it was…
The question is, should I be able to verify it like that via the #dots-verify channel (of course if there wasn’t that bug that’s been going on since last year)?
And if yes, which wallet should I choose from that list considering I haven’t moved my dot and it’s on the above-mentioned page?
Or this way would never work? Just so I know I don’t waste my time if this is the case… Thanks!

vanshaj13 There ain’t any solution. Most of us just had the dots in platform created accounts, and it never told us to backup the private key. Now, the public keys have changed and we can’t retrieve the private keys. Without that we can’t transfer the dot to any other wallet that Discord can connect to and verify 
Vigneswar Same situation here. I think I might have a red dot as well but I have no experience and I’m not sure how or if I set it up correctly in the first instance. I would love to be able to redeem these though so I could pass on my Nothing Phone 2a to a future Nothing fan 
ManishDharmadhikari - if you have a Dot, of any kind. You need to have this linked to Discord, via “Dots-Verify”. Then you will need to use the “Member-Rewards” channel and follow the Bot’s steps.

For those of you who think you might have had a Red Dot, I’m almost certain you would know if you did. To my knowledge they were never just given away. You had to earn/buy ten Black Dots, then trade them in for a Red Dot. If you don’t know how to manage NFTs, you wouldn’t have got a Red Dot.
It would be at least helpfull if Nothing prepare a tutorial to all like me, who only put theur money in this company but are not IT experts and last but not least also I do not appreciate this kind of unexpected changes of the games rules in the middle of the run… I’m not here for the 60€ or whatever it is, I’m just here to demonstrate my incomprehension of the way this situationis beeing managed.
arpan2308 the content says that in india we can choose an audio or smartphone but in smartphones it specifies phone 2a or 2a plus … does this code not apply to phone 2 ?
