Case on CMF Phone

Considering the design and options to slap so many accessories, I want to know one thing?

Is CMF Phone 1 designed to be used without a case? And how many are actually going to use it case less?

Meaning, third party cases on the phone

I’ve not handled one to know for sure, but I think there is little-to-no protection of the battery, so I would avoid dropping it without a case on.

There may be a clue in this teardown video from JerryRigEverything. I’ve not watched it.
