Got my CMF Phone 1 few days ago and noticed frequent package loss in gaming. So I checked the Wi-Fi settings and it turns out that this phone only connects the router under 480Mps (5GHz 1000Mps router) and around 98Mps under 2.4GHz Wi-Fi?

Is this a bug or a hardware limitation

    It seems no one bothers this but this is true even in 3.0.

    Yes, I bought a CMF 1 yesterday and it still has this problem. Whether I use a Wifi7 router or a Wifi6 router, the connection speed is always 480Mbps. This is obviously not normal. It should be 1200Mbps or 2401Mbps. This makes me worry that it is caused by the hardware. Can Nothing solve this problem?

    I’m having the same issue, where i cant watch Live videos on YouTube because it will becomes low quality and break connection, i tried clearing YouTube cache and even forgetting the WiFi and connecting it again, i tried to see my speed on Fast.com app and it shows below 1MBps. i thought it was my WiFi router issue so i tried different phones where all of them are above 6MBps. so it probably a phone optimization issue.

    I just tested with my Wifi6E mesh network. I turned off 5g.

    Seems OK. I usually get closer to 1Gb/s when I’m on the main router.

    I stand corrected … 1m from the router I get 800Mb/s+ upload/download on my M1MBA and only 360Mb/s on my CMF1

    I Deon’t need more performance but there seems like a cap in place.
