I really like the colour, and the design is finally starting to grow on me. The relatively low IP rating is disappointing, but 50W charging is a great selling point to me. And if like me you don’t want wireless charging, this phone is a fantastic buy at £399! If the Phone (2a) Case & Screen Protector offer is included (£26 £44), then I might be tempted.

All I could find on it:
100% recycled aluminium used in the mid-frame
100% recycled tin on 5 circuit boards
100% recycled copper foil on the main circuit board
Recycled steel on 24 steel stamping parts
Over 50% of the plastic parts are sustainably sourced
Plastic waste from the Ear (2) production line is repurposed into Phone (2a) Plus
The material used on the back of the phone (2a) plus has been omitted from the UK spec sheet.

Oh, it’s a pity that we have no milk/white version of Plus version. Hope we’ll get more options in near future, because I’d like to buy one.
Nothing matches the Special Edition color. Would have really loved to see Nothing Phone 2a Plus to be launched in similar looks, with all the extra power.
Eagerly waiting for 7th August for sale to open on Flipkart (India) and wishing for a magical entry of Special Edition in Phone 2a Plus

And Europe Price and Availability? The same with other products, we can’t track everything. I can’t buy CMF Phone 1 out of green case, I can’t buy CMF Watch PRO, I cant buy CMF Buds Pro 2.

I was hoping for a glass and metal version of the 2a 
. I love the design of the original 2a, for sure I would have bought a flagship version of it.
If is mini version I would already pre-order, in this case why would someone go for Plus model instead of Phone 2 or 2a? But yeah, marketing is good as usual and silver colorway looks nice.

For me it is a much better offering than the phone (2a) and for just an extra £50. The phone (2) offers very little more, and nothing that I can’t live without; certainly not for an extra £120. In many ways, the phone (2a) plus is as good or better than the flagship (2) and is three quarters the price.
sean (1) That’s true, but with this release I just feel they are filling the gaps in between models. What i’ve read seems that lot of users are complaining about updates on lower tier (or older) Nothing phones, so guess Phone 2 get them first, also materials on Phone 2 are better as “flagship” line. Think I will just wait for Phone 3.

Whether the back cover is glass or plastic makes no difference to me – either way I’m putting a case on it.
Yes, the phone (2a) plus kind of sits between the two phones, or as I put it elsewhere, it’s a phone (2) from the multiverse.
I’m going to pop into the London store to have a look. 
I was tempted by the OnePlus Nord 4 when it was revealed two weeks ago, but I think the (2a) plus might be a better buy. Can someone more knowledgeable than I am advise if there is any significant difference between the Mediatek Dimensity 7350 (Pro) and Qualcomm SM7675 Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3?
