Theme: People & Portraits 📸

Welcome to another instalment of the Nothing Community Monthly Photography Challenge! @Rob ⚡️, @Mattia ☀️ and I loved seeing everyone’s entries for last month’s theme, ‘Night Photography’.

This month’s theme is ‘People & Portraits’ - we’re going back to one of last year’s themes to see how a change in time and season influences your portraits. As the seasons change, so do the opportunities for capturing unique and evocative portraits.

Perhaps, like us here in London, you are experiencing sunnier days and can use the sunlight to illuminate your subject and take some portraits. Perhaps you’ll explore a new area and try out some street photography. Or maybe you’ll get creative and set up a fashion shoot, asking your model to wear specific colours to complement the surroundings or the season’s mood. Whatever direction you choose, let the changing environment inspire fresh perspectives and creativity in your work.

Below are examples shot by @DmitryNovikov and @DW1037 on CMF Phone 1 during the London photowalk. We were blessed with beautiful weather, a stark contrast from the previous walk we hosted during winter.

    Here’s a picture which I took from Nothing phone 2(a) … That day it rained a lot … and I wanted to shoot something that No one had tried to do soo, I used the help of a water mirror on the ground instead of a real mirror… I hope you like it !

      I’ve recently discovered the joy of morning walks in the park! The lovely weather, the cheerful birds chirping, and the chance to see people exercising together really brighten my day. Plus, I can’t resist all the adorable dogs and cats I come across! I even captured three cute cat portraits during one of my walks!

      I went on a trip to Prague with my girlfriend, and while we were waiting for our lunch, I saw an amazing photo opportunity with the buildings in the background
