Why no Audio jack

The only reason why I am stopping to buy as it has no audio jack . Got to know it doesn’t have charger. Lol but gives a SIM Pin. To listen a song to depend on blue tooth head set or pod. Creating a dependency defeats ur design purpose! Apple as well tried and failed. All the best for failure!

Will there ever be a phone with an audio jack?

I know Nothing has it in their interest to sell wireless headphones, however I would like to see this feature on their next phone, I will not buy a phone without an audio jack as it’s hugely inconvenient for me to always carry a player & I don’t plan on ripping out the USB-C port when it inevitably snags when using an adapter.
I would like to use third-party wired IEMs with my phone and believe it’s my right, people like me aren’t in the market for wireless earphones anyway.

Please introduce this feature to your next phone!

JJO_IkrY8SiQrr Most phones nowadays are adopting the no 3.5mm feature. One is because it takes a lot of space inside the body and the other is to promote their earbuds.

You can use a usb c type earphone or you can use a hi-res audio dac if you want to listen to hi-res music.

I love everything about this phone, I just wish they have a headphone jack. Will there be on in the next upgrade?

[deleted] That’s a bogus excuse. Prior to 2018 there were lots of phones with IP68 rating which had headphone jack. These IP rating, protecting the ocean, reducing carbon emissions these are nothing but excuses. All these companies are here to make money, they don’t give a damn about anything other than money. No headphone jack means you’ll buy a bluetooth earphone, no charger you’ll get one.

I just use a USB-C to 3.5mm jack adaptor with my Phone 2a but primarily I just use BT TWS earbuds.

Its now many years that companies don’t make phones with 3.5 mm audio jack, it’s not the reason to not buy a smartphone.
