Ezotericar it’s not strange at all. What seemed to happen is just image retention and not burn-in. If you keep the same image on your screen for a long time and also with high brightness setting, it’s more likely to leave a ghost image. The best way to remove the ghosted image is using your phone as much as possible with constant changing of content viewed.
I don’t really understand how you guys use your phones. My phone turns the screen off after 1 minute of standby. Why would I leave the home screen (or any other screen for that matter) turned on for 5 minutes with the same picture, if I’m not doing anything on the phone?
I see you talking about 30 minutes! Do you enjoy staring at the same image over and over again? Please explain to me what’s the point of it.
Maybe I’m just not understanding what you mean. Even while playing the most boring board game, images shown on screen are changing frequently. Burn-in or retention shouldn’t happen in such scenarios. What is it that I’m not getting?
