Has anybody facing issues while wireless charging ??

I have bought power bank with wireless charging, but for some reason my nothing phone 2 is not charging using wireless charge.

Danny00190 If you have a back case remove it and check, some covers are too thick and can’t charge properly.

Also, did you check if the charger is ok or not? Try charging some other phones.

There could be another reason, which is overheating, if your room temperature is higher than usual or you use a cover then the phone gets warm and stops charging. Generally wireless charging generates more heat than wired charging.

Wireless charging is all I’ve ever used on my Nothing Phone 2, or any phone since it’s been a thing.

Got 3 wireless chargers, one beside my couch, one in bedroom, and one in my car.

Hás some issues with my 5W wireless charger( the phone stopped charging after a while, sometimes charging 15%, other times 25%), but my 15W seams to work properly.

What’s the power output of the charger?

Sourav_Satvaya hii. Yess I am charging phone wirelessly by removing case. The power bank works fine I tried it with iPhone’s, Samsung’s even TWS.

Actually it was working maybe 2 3 updates before, coz I was trying reverse wireless charging and vice versa. But now I cannot charge my phone if others are sharing battery.

Danny00190 So, you only have the issue when it’s other devices sharing battery?

Because normally the battery share feature is a “low power” charge. Ex. NP2 reverse charges only at 5W, and many other devices have this same limitation.
I think that NP2 struggles with low power wireless charging. As I mentioned earlier, I had issues charging using a 5W wireless charger.

AAS_1981 hii.. replying to your previously question. Power bank outputs 15w magsafe and Qi supported.

No the issue is not only for battery share but for any kind of wireless charge. I shared an example of battery share because I knew wireless charging was working fine before and its not working now.

Any suggestions on what trouble shooting I can do ?

Danny00190 some things occur to me, but maybe someone more informed on this can pitch in.
If it was update related it had to affect other users, so I don’t think that’s the issue.

Can you reverse charge another equipment using the NP2? If yes, that would probably exclude an hardware issue.

Do you have any APP installed to manage your battery? can one of this type of apps prevent the wireless charging for working properly?

Then, there’s the old “Reset” on the phone…

Other than this, I think only support could help you out more

AAS_1981 yes I can reverse charge other devices.

Most probably I will try to reset, hope that resolves my issue.

Question for you if you don’t mind Will the nothing phone 2 work with MagSafe iPhone charger on the back ??

Devyn Yes, I tested with a magsafe powerbank from a colleague.
It charges, but obviously the magnetic part doesn’t work.
