Screen On Glyphs

Hello I’m new here.

recently bought a Nothing Phone 2, does glyphs work or lights up when there are new notifications?

It does work for me while the screen is off, it lights as what I’ve set.

But when using the phone like browsing or etc. the glyphs won’t light up with these new notifications.

Jcck Hi there. The Glyps should light up when ringing or getting a notification. However if your phone is placed on a table face up or in your pocket, the glyphs will not light up when ringing or getting a notification. BUT. You can always set the “essential glyphs” for any notifications you find… Well… Essential! Then the top right glyph would constantly stay lit until you unlock the phone, or interact with the notification in any other way. Go to settings>glyph interface>notifications and under “essential notifications” select any that you want. You can set a whole app as essential, or just a notification from a single person/event.

Jcck I just wanted to say absolutely, but I checked my phone and they didn’t. A recent update maybe.

Hey can we set glyph light for a particular contact or for spam calls like that, as it will be easy for the users for using it more efficiently

SouravNDas You can always select a different notification/call ringtone for different contacts. Then You’ll have different glyphs as well.

How to Enable glyph Notifications on Nothing Phone 2A while unlocked or face-up?
It works while i flip my phone (flip to glyph is turned off). But it works when the device is locked just after using and a notification pops up. But not when the device is locked and the face is up.

I don’t know why it is happening or am i doing something wrong!?
