I own a 2a since May this year. Now I bought a 2a Plus and can confirm. Battery is worse. It needs kernel optimizations I guess. Other than that I like the extra snappiness it offers. This was missing with the 2a. Please optimize the kernel and everything should be perfect!

Sure it does. But still you can optimize a lot due to kernel adjustments. For me it’s a 2 hour SoT that I’m losing.

EDIT: Why is it important to use a good charger? I thought charger is charger. Does this really affect battery life? I’m confused..

Yes I also have the phone and the battery life is rubbish, 6-7 hours on screen time, maybe 8 if I turn off everything at all times it even drains pretty quickly if I leave it on standby doing nothing all day

danielwarren37 I’d be really interested to know if you’re getting 6-8hrs SoT and that is ‘rubbish’ what does good look like? What would you want Nothing to do to improve?

After october update.. My battery drained fastly.. No more apps in background.. All are checked.. So please give the update for resolve this issue.. Before update 100 to 90 with wifi 1 hour time and after update 100 to 90 with wifi 30 mins..

Facing battery drain issue in my 2a plus also, i use whatsapp and instagram and around 10 calls per day.. but battery backup still not good. I getting screen on time of around 6 hours only.

Also my phone is just 8 days old, with 65W CMF GAN charger my phone getting charge very quick like 3% in 1 minute. i dont know whether it should charge with this speed. or it putting stress on battery.
Please help me out with this.

I was genuinely confused why it drained faster than my previous 4 year old phone (Galaxy A51), which had a lower battery capacity. Screen off time is also much worse compared to it.

This phone lasts 1 day or less with me on normal usage (no gaming, no extensive video playing) despite Nothing themselves claiming a 2-day battery life. Many reviews this phone 10-16 hours, but mine lasts only 7-8. I was hoping to use the charging limit feature but that just brings it down to 6.

The claimed battery life is one of the main reasons why I chose this phone, so I’m extremely disappointed. I’m really hoping the 3.0 update makes it what they advertised it to be.
