Phone (2a) Plus - Battery Life Discussion

I have heard that Nothing phones offer great Battery life & bought the new Phone 2a Plus with the same expectations but I guess this phone is not optimised yet Bcoz it doesn't have a good Battery life , it has a screen on time of around 5.5 hrs which I think is less compared to even Phone 2a. Please provide software updates to optimize this device

Same here, bought 2a plus on May 28th 2025. Experiencing overnight battery drain over 20-25% even with data off and I’m using a 4g sim. I’m also experiencing network/ internet drop mid use. Currently, the phone’s running on latest update PacmanPro-V3.0-250410-1524-IND . If anyone facing same issue and found a solution please comment.

Finally I fought the solution,

If you are using airtel sim put the sim card into the trash and buy a new jio sim.

Reason:Airtel carrier is not well optimised in nothing 2a plus and also due to unstable signal strength of airtel than jio.

I am getting 4.5 hourssot in airtel with batery saver and 60hz and 4g.

But,in jio I got 6.5 hours sot without battery saver and i got 5g++.

With battery saver i got 1.5 days battery life.

So, i finally tell that secrect put the air in bin and jio in phone and enjoy

Hello I have purchased the nothing 2a plus I found It cool, nice even my freind are shocked which phone is this, now lets back to my problem - using it for 2 week and I only charge it 90percent and after using it for 3 hour(I don’t play games just normal YouTube video watching 1080p, and reels scrolling and at dynamic display) it drop to 42 or 32 like what I don’t even play game, please fix this issue nothing if u are hearing. Overall rating 5/5

I am getting only 5hrs of SOT on my new nothing phone 2a plus with lite use no games only youtube ..i don’t know is the issue with my device only or with all

Hey i have a problem

This is very bad it cant be like every short or every minute is almost a percent and i bought my phone last week and charged it 20/80

I had this problem out of the box and i saw so many post about this in here thet phone 2aplus doesnt have claimed battery life

Whalee🇮🇷 this perticular percentage in screenshot suggests how much percentage of battery is used by this app only from Total battery persentage used… if battery percentage got 100>>90…and you used only youtube…it will show 100% use…

So consider what battery percentage you’re on to calculate this…

Whalee🇮🇷 How fast? JP explained it to you perfectly well, nothing is wrong on that screenshot of yours. This is me currently, battery at 95%:

Firefox “spent” 44% of that:

Battery is not “draining fast”, it’s at 95%, not at 56% (100% minus 44% from Firefox).

Whalee🇮🇷 I’d recommend AccuBatteryPro as it will explain what we’re typing here with a real-world example. The default Battery app is requiring the end user to understand that it’s signified percentage is really a percentage of a percentage. AccuBattery will show the mAh consumed. (Although that does require the end user to use 5150 or 5500mAh as the denominator.)

Whalee🇮🇷 you to need to provide detailed usage screenshots for us to help you.

These two screens are really useful.

They also show that I’ve lost about 5% SoT with the recent NP3 update compared to the previous update. (Some with the screen on and some with the screen off).
