And i forgot to say, your phone battery whill last for years, because from 60-100% battery cells regenarate and fixes broken cells that doesn’t give a charge. That charging is best for phone. It prolongs battery life and its also last logner on single charge

I was able to identify the problem causing my phone’s battery to drain after doing some tests. In essence, the “adaptive battery” option does not function as intended. Now that I disabled it, everything is returning to normal. Furthermore, the 60 to 100 approach is also providing me with far greater result; it’s like the cherry on top.

Result: My phone was last charged 12 hrs back and I still have 30% battery with 3 hrs of screen time.

Nothing Team needs to take a look at the Adaptive Battery feature and fix it.

Glad to 60-100% metod works and help you solve your battery problem.🤗🤗🤗

My phone 1 battery drains even when idle and occasionally overheats.I have 100 % charged it , within half n hour it’s 95% without any proper use.how do I fix it.

      I’m using Nothing Phone 1.

After the latest update 3 days before, I’m facing slow charging issue. Even it’s showing Rapid charging but it’s charged very slow. And battery is draining like a hell. Battery draining speed is more than charging speed. Kept phone idle for whole night, but even it draining more than 20% while in idle. Anyone else facing the same issue?

YuvarajUV I have faced the same issue. I had to format the device and it was fixed, but recently after that small update packages it seems like the idle drain situation is back. But its not more than 5 to 6 % , I would suggest, try formatting the device. I feel like , just like other smartphone companies out their, nothing is having hard time providing bug free updates to its legacy devices, given now they have to manage 2 more smartphone, 4 audio device and a smartwatch 😂. I really wish that is not the case and they soon fix this battery drain issue.

I was searching on internet and find this metod. And when i start charging my device like that my battery is very different from normal charging. I experience way better screen time on single charge and battery life. I know for this metod for years and works great.
For example before 2days i charge my device from 40% to a 100% and my screen time that day on 60% was be around 1h 50m. And yesterday i put my phone on 71% to a 100% and today my screen time is 2:45h on 60h (Same usage of the phone) . Way better result. I suggest everyone to try this it really works.

Stefan do we need to charge battery from 60 to 100 everyday or how please explain.if we charge it from 60 to 100 everyday then we have to use only 35% of battery which is very less and connect charger each time when battery drops to 60%

Hello, thanks for read my post and see you are interested in. You have to charge your phone from about 60-100% everuday. Don’t worry if your battery get down to about 55% or less on some day its not bad. Its the same range for the battery for that cells regenarition. Its only imprortant that you dont fall below 50% battery mark becouse elecrolites inside the batery cros over the line between positive (+) and negative (-) cells. That the reason why is 60-100% best for battery becouse you don’t cros on that “line” whitch can couses cells to stuck here and “cannot” be fixed. And when you charge (60-100%) you always stay in that healthy line, that’s why you feel the difference and battery life because you cells never be broken on long terms.

I hope i explained to everyone that battery thing😁.
Just for example i charge most of the time from 60-100% and yesterday i drain my battery on 20% just to see how is my screen time compared to your on this community. My phone on 20% mark have 6:45h sot.

Stefan got it now and thanks for the clarification 👍

Problem is i am a heavy user but i will try to follow the same

VineetNair i also disabled the Adaptive battery option but then my phones animation starts to little lagging

Did you also experienced the same?

Are they planning on ever fixing the battery drain issue, it’s just getting worse.

Kunal222 Man don’t disable adaptive battery. That is what gives you battery life. It intelligently disables background services of apps that you don’t use over time.

Charging to 100% all the time kills your battery’s life span.

                Isn’t the 20 - 80 rule the correct method?

                Charge only upto 80%

Charge when battery is at 20%

To increase battery life span for long term.

Hello, I’m having an issue with the battery on my NP 1. Specifically, after one of the latest updates, the SOT (Screen On Time) dropped from around 6 hours to just under 4. Have any of you noticed this problem as well? Is it possible to roll back this update?
