Thoughts on small/compact form factor phones
Thoughts on this? As a phablet user, I’m over these huge phones. I’m seriously craving a small, comfy device. It would be awesome if Nothing released something like that, really)
I think the most comfortable size is 5.9-6.2 inches
@Rob - maybe you can provide some light on this. I saw no nothing-opinion on this matter so far but as there are several threads, I may have missed it.
Nothing may have some better sales details on that (iphone 13 / 12 mini / SE; ASUS Zenphone 10/9; others???) but it seems that a broad offering of compact phones is no longer there. Meanwhile many of the mentioned phones out of production or no longer updated (iphone 14 & 16 without mini option; last iphone SE from 2022; Asus Zenphone 11 with 6.7′' screen). I hear a lot of complaints about this fact but the market seems to go away from this?
From my perspective a reasonable spot for Nothing to evaluate additional market share, best w/o compromising specs and features for a more compact version. price range of competition still between 500 and 700 EUR (Europe), providing some options here.
Hey! I want to know whether nothing is planning is to release a compact phone, I’m a really huge fan of Asus Zenfone 10. Watching all the phones from nothing being 6.7 inch, I feel like we need a phone in compact segment. It’s evident that there are many people wanting compact phones from the sales of Samsung flagships. And also since nothing believes in using the phone for essential purposes (glyphs), a smaller size would support it’s motto.
Hoping I will soon see a compact segment killer from nothing!

A Game Changer for Nothing.
Does Nothing have any plan on releasing a successor to 2a with smaller size and lighter in weight for single handed use.
Smaller phone options in the market are very less
That’s is my dream!
Really want Nothing to make a phone with 6.1 or 6.2 inch phone. Industrially it would really be a good as a compact phone for a company too. Like pixel, samsung or apple do.
Hello, it would be great if you have a model in your portfolio with smaller sizes compared to the front ones. Something 6.1 inches would be lovely.
There should be a smaller version of nothing phone’s premium variant
6″ would be also more than ok if you ask me
Unfortunately the CMF phone 1 does not fulfill the request from this thread. It has 6.67′' and people are looking for a small phone… Though, CMF phone 1 is impressive from a design and value for money perspective.
Can we have a smaller 6inch or even 5.7inch size when the Phone 3 and 3a. I love the 2a but hate the 6.7inch size. Phones should be smaller not a huge brick in your pocket.
