DREAM NOTHING Phone = A Compact { 5.5 inch } Flagship Value for money Phone

As Nothing2a co-creation doesn’t allow dimension changes, i thought to start the discussion here.

Screen Size: 5.5 inch IDEAL LTPO { Uniform minimal bezels, under display fingerprint scanner, 1-30 / 1-60 / 1-90 / 1-120 Hz Screen Refresh Rate options, Low power consumption, Plz don’t exceed 5.9 inch in any case, 16:9 ratio }

DESIGN: Sub 200gm, Minimalist design language. Uniform Square Boxy Design with transparent back nothing design. Can be little thick in order to compensate bigger battery and minimal camera bumps. Metal build with Gorilla glass victus.

BATTERY: 5000mah ideally, as much as can be incorporated. Compact phone can be little thick in order to fit more battery { thickness not more than 10mm, can provide 7hrs of SOT atleast }

CAMERA: Telephoto lens { 3x-5x Zoom, 4k 60fps/ 30fps / 960fps with OIS }

SPECS: Phone should be value for money, ideally around 35K INR { IMHO, Price will play a crucial part in sales of this phone. Iphone mini failed because of Poor Battery as well as High Price. Also, for most INDIANS 40k is not considered as mid-range its more of a Flagship pricing }.

Would love to have option to enable/disable themes provided by nothing community witch changes screen wakep/screen lock animations and charging animations etc. Also bootloader unlocked after warranty.

I really love the Nothing phone 2a, it incorporating the great features and built of a nothing phone and also being budget friendly. The only issue i face is its size. I know a lot of people love a big screen size, I on the other hand prefer a small screen size (aorund 5.5 inches) due to its pocket and hand friendly nature and am Dreaming of a nothing phone with a smaller size. I would love to know the thoughts of people in this community who truly love and support this brand and moreover know the product very well.
So, what do you guys think?

I would like to share a quite real idea for a mini version Nothing Phone.

I think we also need a smaller version of Nothing Phone like s24 or Pixel 5 size.

Now i use Pixel 4a user, but I miss a similar-sized successor. I like the look of Nothing Phone and Nothing OS im ready to change pixel to Nothing Phone mini

Thoughts on this? As a phablet user, I’m over these huge phones. I’m seriously craving a small, comfy device. It would be awesome if Nothing released something like that, really)

I think the most comfortable size is 5.9-6.2 inches

@Rob ⚡️ - maybe you can provide some light on this. I saw no nothing-opinion on this matter so far but as there are several threads, I may have missed it.

Nothing may have some better sales details on that (iphone 13 / 12 mini / SE; ASUS Zenphone 10/9; others???) but it seems that a broad offering of compact phones is no longer there. Meanwhile many of the mentioned phones out of production or no longer updated (iphone 14 & 16 without mini option; last iphone SE from 2022; Asus Zenphone 11 with 6.7′' screen). I hear a lot of complaints about this fact but the market seems to go away from this?

From my perspective a reasonable spot for Nothing to evaluate additional market share, best w/o compromising specs and features for a more compact version. price range of competition still between 500 and 700 EUR (Europe), providing some options here.

Hey! I want to know whether nothing is planning is to release a compact phone, I’m a really huge fan of Asus Zenfone 10. Watching all the phones from nothing being 6.7 inch, I feel like we need a phone in compact segment. It’s evident that there are many people wanting compact phones from the sales of Samsung flagships. And also since nothing believes in using the phone for essential purposes (glyphs), a smaller size would support it’s motto.

Hoping I will soon see a compact segment killer from nothing!

Unfortunately the CMF phone 1 does not fulfill the request from this thread. It has 6.67′' and people are looking for a small phone… Though, CMF phone 1 is impressive from a design and value for money perspective.

Really want Nothing to make a phone with 6.1 or 6.2 inch phone. Industrially it would really be a good as a compact phone for a company too. Like pixel, samsung or apple do.
