FPS locked to 60 in Tik Tok

Hi guys - Just bought a 2a with the latest OS update. Noticed that TikTok seems to lock to 60 FPS in just your own feed and profile scrolling which makes it choppy and laggy, then changes to 120 FPS in other parts of the App. Refresh rate already set to high and tried forcing the peak refresh rate option in Dev Options and turning off battery saver in settings but doesn’t help. Anyone got any tips to try?

I also got this issue on my NP2 this summer.Somewhere around July.

Thats normal, since videos are 60fps max. It’s to reduce unnecessary battery usage. To force 120hz, enable “force peak refresh rate” in the developper settings.

Aleks Levet 2 things. Firstly the force peek refresh rate doesn’t work, because it is a bug not a feature. It happened randomly. Secondly a proof that this is a bug is that it goes back to 120fps either if you happened to get a hidden notification or if you go in windowed mode/splitscreen.
