I’m deeply concerned by the issues that have been raised by the Nothing Community regarding Display green dots, Not Pure Black, Screen Burn, Lines on the display, poor battery backup, etc. I’m about to buy Nothing Phone 2a, is it really worth buying in India?
Worth Buying or Not
There aren’t many cases of green line issue in nothing phones. And the the battery backup is quite impressive .It is optimised well so we get atleast 6 hrs of screen on time. There might be isolated issues here or there , similar to all the other brands out there. Wait for the upcoming sale and then buy it.
JoelV I’m buying it offline in Croma today bro, just getting ready, scared to see the issues
Rajesh_Kannan I heard that in India, buying phones from Flipkart is not a wise choice. So, as long as it’s not from Flipkart, just go for it!
Guidomelvin That’s great to hear bro, aren’t you facing those serious display issues?
Today I’m visiting service centre. Check all things of product till return policy available. My camera have a spot I deducted it yesterday. Otherwise phone is good. Software is so good.

Rajesh_Kannan i have the nothing phone 2a more than a month and i didn’t have isuess at all, so don’t be affraid, the battery life is great the screen not have problems and the camera is very good!
Rajesh_Kannan There’s a minor issue, Image Retention where the icons from my navigation and status bars have “temporarily” burned into the display. When playing a YouTube video with Ambient Display turned on, the burns from the navigation and status bars are there. However, these “burns” are hardly noticeable.
About battery backup, I got 6 hours SoT, daily with mixes of Wi-Fi & Mobile data uses and the use of Dual SIM. No games, just social & entertainment apps.
I don’t believe my unit originated from India. When purchasing this Phone (2a), I encountered several procedures due to the Indonesian government’s restrictions on smartphone imports. I got the phone from a reseller who informed me that it was sourced from Europe. Moreover, the box of my Phone (2a) states “Made in China”, which leads me to think it differs from the Indian units.
