A couple of days ago, Nothing dropped this teaser for an upcoming product.
Every time hype for a new product builds, especially with these cryptic teasers, I can’t help but become fixated on what it could possibly be. It’s at this point where the creative in me jumps out and the ideas and theories begin.
Looking at certain aspects of this image, I think it’s easy to determine what product category this belongs to, and I’ve seen some really interesting guesses, theories and rumours throughout the community.
That being said I love surprises, so here’s a curveball. What if it was something like this… a clip on/magnetic lapel style microphone.
A product like this could be great for creatives and content creators who also want something stylish and part of an ecosystem that they may already be a part of. Existing microphones in the space can sometimes be a bit blocky, and generally just same same looking.
This product could have features like; Nothing X integration, fast pairing with other Nothing/CMF devices, a nice big battery with an option to plug in a battery pack for long sessions, and lastly, an incredible design to compliment your existing Nothing devices.
It would also be great to see the return of some new colours such as the yellow that was introduced with Ear (a).
