Nothing phone 2a O-LED display behaviour

Hello everyone I am using nothing phone 2a blue colour 8gb 256gb variant. Whenever I am watching night/dark scenes in webseries, movies, etc. the pixels g ya torn and video quality looks like 144p despite streaming on highest quality. When contacted team nothing there REgional Manager of Western India Mumbai Mr.Darshan contacted me and had a word with technical team

I had sent him the video as reference for the issue when technical team saw they said this is the Behaviour of “O LED” display and they offered for change of display for my satisfaction but said changing display won’t fetch any changes, so basically issue won’t resolve.

Therefore to all nothing 2q users are you’ll facing the same display quality issue so that I can verify what they are saying is true or not.

Also I am concerned about that once phone goes in repair then new problems keep on developing. Also data backup is stressful.

Did you try with other movies. I mean with video file with other codecs?

@spellsaif I didn’t get your question can you simplyfy it.

And to add the error is not app specific I get this issue in YOUTUBE, instagram, etc.

This might be OLED motion stutter, so, it might be correct that a new panel wouldn’t fix this issue. This kind of thing occurs when playing back low frame rate content, with the very fast response time display on a mobile device. As per the comment above, I’d see whether this is caused by a specific app.

hrry. No this ain’t caused by a specific app as checked with another user who is using nothing phone 2a black colour. He doesn’t has such display issue also checkes with YouTube app over there as well we could see the difference of content quality displayed in my phone vs his phone.

Even when I play any video on YouTube the caption of video has colour fadeness in background around caption area but the same was not in another phone 2a on exact same video been played.
