Agree. And, looking forward to this on Nothing OS 3 if this is confirmed (hoping my (1) gets it quickly after launch 😉). Whenever I open my app drawer I always wish it had a black background, would blend the icons in and look so cool.

This is happening in nothing OS 3.0 , I have raised this issue last year itself. if you want it black. you can choose launcher and then you can have all black.

theres a workaround if you want pitch black background, you can have it. I did but I didnt enjoy much. but we getting it with os3 so lets wait

saw some youtuber whos having beta os 3, said it’s unified black now rather than grey tone.

I am having my nothing phone 2 with its notification centre, and settings with greyish color, not exactly black since we are having an O-led panel, even companies like oppo, xiaomi are providing an option for deep black which indeed makes better battery life.
