Media player doesn't display YouTube Music [SOLVED]

Media player widget doesnt show info from YouTube music app. You can only control playback (but it shows info correctly from other sources…) restart, reinstalling, all tried without succes

Hey mate. Have you updated your device recently? It seems people are reporting this to be the case with the widget on the recent update for (2) (2a) and (2a) Plus. I’d suggest (but can’t confirm) that this is a bug.

On my Phone (1) which hasn’t been updated recently I’m seeing album art for YT music, as well as playback controls (play/pause). I’d suggest either raising this with support or, via Settings > System > Feedback.

you might should contact the nothing team directly via Settings, select System, and then choose Feedback.

This is the best way to ensure that your comments and observations are directly relayed to the appropriate teams.

I’m having the same problem, u guys use yt music, coz from my testing it’s only yt music, Spotify shows fine, heck even file manage

Yes YouTube music. The irony of a Google product not showing on an Android device. That really used to annoy me on my old OnePlus 8T, you could have a music player widget on the lockscreen… but only Spotify. WTF?

Hi, I hope everyone is well. After the latest Nothing OS 2.6 September patch, I am facing a bug where the media player widget is no longer showing Cover art / Preview of Songs playing on YouTube Music. I have tried resetting YouTube Music and the widget, but I can’t seem to find a solution. It is working fine with other music streaming services such as Spotify and Apple Music. I would be really grateful if this could be fixed in the upcoming patch.
