YouTube picture-in-picture (PiP) Mode for some videos

Afew days ago my nothing phone 2 was letting me play YouTube videos in a small box whilst scrolling through other apps, all of a sudden this feature isn’t working anymore? Can anyone guide me on how to set this up? Thanks alot, love the nothing community

nothingwetrust YouTube is testing the PIP Mode (pop-up player) for the free users for quite some time. Sometimes they appear, sometimes they disappear all of a sudden. Currently this is a premium only feature on Android. However, on iOS it’s already available to the free users.

nothingwetrust also didn’t works for me, i know that in Brawe browser Youtube can play in background.

Works when i opened it for full scredn and then exit from the browser, cheked than now on Brave Browser.

nothingwetrust you can use pop up view in Nothing OS. If you drag the YouTube app up in the recent menu to the pop up view, you’ll be able to view the video while doing other things on your phone.

nothingwetrust if the channel you are watching has allowed pip mode then you can see it without subscription I also see video in pop but only one channel
