Thoughts on community concerns with Phone (2)

I’ve seen many people reporting issues with overheating, battery drain, cellular calling, fast charging, and Bluetooth connectivity on the Phone (2). Thankfully, I haven’t experienced any of these problems. This makes me wonder if these are due to consumer misuse or actual quality control and manufacturing issues. It concerns me about the Phone (2)'s long-term durability, as many in the community are complaining. I’ve watched numerous reviews and haven’t seen these common issues mentioned, so are they manufacturing-related or due to misuse? I’d appreciate any thoughts on this!

I agree… Taking the ambient temperature into consideration especially in a hot country like India most of the phones overheat.. Whereas I didn’t any face any such issue even on intense tasks.

Infact I would say the thermal management is pretty good compared to lot of phones out there(with snapdragon 8 series processor).

Apart from few bugs here and there. Camera is the only department where the phone needs major attention.

HariharanR_G same here the heat management is very good honestly and i live in pakistan and here it is hot too and never have i ever found it heating up , just getting normal warm during playing pubg smooth + 60fps but on 90fps it definitely gets hot but it is obvious its pushing more frames , other than that i agree camera does need alot of improvements like in photo processing, shutter lag , optimization , and animations refinement.

Abdul-Muhaymin Hey bro, I’m not really sure about it. But all I know is people over here play intense games on their mobile phones, especially pubg a lot.

Handle with care is important!

A phone should not be charged immediately after a long session of intense tasks or gaming. I even see some people play these games plugged in. Such things damages the hardware components in a long run.

But if the issue is with the phone itself after making sure of these parameters then obviously it has be diagnosed by nothing.

HariharanR_G Absolutely, it’s easy to fall into those bad habits. I experienced it myself with my Samsung A51; I’d play for hours while it was plugged in to avoid battery drain. The phone’s performance was decent for its chipset, but the battery life deteriorated significantly. After three years, I upgraded to the Nothing Phone 2 because I was down to just 2-3 hours of screen-on time each day and had to charge it repeatedly. With my new phone, I’m careful not to repeat those mistakes ever again. Thank you for your insights!
