@Louis ☕️ thank you for replying and noticing the issue, but after 2.5.2 update also issue is same, already reported on twitter(X) and feedback. Picture are coming like we have applied some filters on it when we click in day time outdoor when sun rays are bright.

So I have only one request please share camera issue with the nothing software members, hope they can fix in next updates.

    Yeah the camera is rubbish it got better chipset and better sensors even looking I was happy if they provide the exact image what we seen on the phone at that perticular time after the process it was a dump image if there is any way to stop processing. That will be helpful

          Camera is TERRIBLE. I was trying to click photos from a moving vehicle yesterday and the shutter lag is so evident that all my pics came out blurry. Come on guys at Nothing, this isn’t acceptable on a phone which sells at a premium price in India. Even a sub 10k phone takes better pics with little to zero shutter lags. Forget about those glyphs and fancy widgets, work on something which actually matters, i.e., solving bugs, camera issues, customisations. There is so much which can be achieved to make the software experience polished on this phone, if only the priorities are set right and worked upon.

          Louis ☕️ Absolutely no point trying to defend that worthless camera app. This is even more pathetic because the camera hardware is so good. Updates after updates, the photo, video quality does not improve and that a fact. This is the main gripe of all midrange users.

            I have the same issue with my Phone 1 camera; it is unreliable. As Carl said, the camera is the most important thing for user experience. However, your camera app tuning and processing are really poor.

            Please improve camera plz…see all the above discussion, how people are irritated with Nothing Phone 2 camera performance.

            Agree with all the above. I just got my Nothing 2 today. Transferring over from Galaxy 10+, I was shocked to see the quality is poorer than another device over 5 years old now. Kind of sad as I thought it was going to be better due to the specs. From reading above seems more like a software issue? You need to realise how damaging these kinds of reviews can be for your brand? Fix needed asap!

            The Phone (2) camera requires a lot of improvement. When I compared the my Phone(2) with Phone(1), the Phone (1) camera performed better than my Phone (2). Also the Phone (1) is having 20x zoom whereas Phone (2) is only having 10x zoom.

            Kindly please improve the camera of Phone(2) as quick as possible.

            I recorded some videos yesterday at 1080p 60fps. I transfered them to my Windows PC and the file properties says it’s 49.74 fps. In some of them it’s 50.09 fps (the decimals are different on each file). What’s going on here?

            Not only they ruined the camera quality but also it has inconsistent framerate.

            Issues :

            1. Always on HDR mode , due to this some natural pics are getting crappy. Scenario: when sunset is in background the objects edges is getting effected.
            2. There is no consistency in between lenses and scenarios.

            I will be pleased if this issues ate fixed in upcoming updates
