I take lots of pictures and I think they look awesome.

Night vision photos aren’t as good as on the Pixel phones I’ve had though, but I couldn’t care less.

Camera is the least concern to me.

The UI of an OS is though, and there are still glitches Nothing needs to address before the camera.

I understand. But the thing is, if I am out with my friends, I am never the one taking the group pictures, cause the photos I take are trash.

The sharpness is very bad. When I zoom into a picture, there’s always blurriness and distortion, it’s never sharp.

Yes, lighting and colors are one thing, but Nothing isn’t good at them either. With good lighting conditions (like in sunlight), the photos are good. But otherwise, they’re trash. The colors are usually way off, and I’ve even noticed ghosting.

If I am buying a phone that claims to be a flagship killer, I would expect it to excel at all aspects. The camera is a very crucial part of the phone. You have to balance all elements to make a good phone. If the UI is 9/10 and the camera is 2/10, not many would want to buy it.

      Qrucio Bang on.

Camera performance is good only under ideal conditions.

      But otherwise, it sucks.

N should really focus on the camera & on the tinny speakers, esp the earpiece which distorts even during conversations.

I agree, you need to work on the camera!

        Hi Carl,
Recently Purchased Nothing phone2 , now am upset about its camera performance.
        1. Dark Skintone even in Daylight, nightmode conditions
        2. HDR is not working as expected and very poor
        3.Shake Photos in Portairt mode

Please do the needful in the next update

Pictures in bright light are OK when accepting that this is a mid-range phone, but low light pictures are absolutely not.

4 months for Nothing to fix that could imply that the company does not have people competent to fix software issues.

Qrucio cant agree more, camera is still the huge drawback for me to own this phone

I agree. The camera is simply not acceptable. I cannot understand how a company can take so long to modify software so that the camera performs adequately. Almost every review on YouTube mentions the poor camera performance, so you would think Nothing would want to fix it to boost future sales.

Could be that they are concentrating on selling clothes and beer and will soon be out of business with phones.

Wonder if they will be here long enough for us to get the 3 years of Android updates promised.

lexlexus Lol, but seriously, iPhones have always been consistently rated tops for camera prowess, esp video, by every reviewer.

Overall too you can’t go wrong with an iphone - top notch hardware, very polished software.
