Nothing Phone (2) camera feedback

While clicking photo by 0.6x zoom photo look like dslr but while clicking photo by 1x or 2x zoom photo will not come in true colour May be its been software issue

When it comes to capturing human subjects in low light, Camera is very inconsistent, just does not capture details, Over-sharpened and grainy shots, uneven light, exposure is out of control. All this happens while processing. But when clicking a picture it looks manageable, once it’s processed it becomes unusable.

Rear camera photo on human subjects at night is not good. It seems like photo taken through a 15K phone. Earlier I think it was better

The photos from back camera are very bright and a lot of contrast is observed after post processing. Anyone faced this issue?

I have thought that the colours of the photos on the (2) is a bit off and compared with a friend’s pretty old IPhone. The photos from the iPhone was a lot more true to reality. And I should have a better camera.

Anyone that knows anything or even has a solution?

It would be interesting to get some more details considering how the colors are “off”. Oversaturated, undersaturated, wrong hue? I’ve noticed the Nothing Phone (2) seem to be tending quite oversaturated at times with the newer 2.5.x versions, last year when it was still on OS 2.0 the colors were mostly neutral in my experience.

You can try using a different filter, which you can find in the toolbar on the top of the camera app.

I have nothing phone 2 when I click the pic’s it’s taking fev seconds to show the pic like processing time late and pls give camera update improve camera

Messed up camera, nothing team is busy on launching new phones and improving their cameras, not for phone 2.

Camera stability is not as we expected. It’s like taking pictures on 10mp camera. It says 50mp but quality is much lower comparing to other average phone.

Nothing phone 2 is just a waste of money. Not fullfill our desire. Too much lagging . Gaming experience is too poor.

Yes today is 13th of july 2024 camera still need a lot of improvement. While capturing the photos Im not getting that premium phone vibe..

For example moto edge 50pro camera is far better than the nothing phone 2 camera.

Moto takes some stunning pictures soo much good quality and colours..

But on nothing phone 2 it’s not that appealing.

Please IMPROVE the CAMERA QUALITY

After 2.6 NP2 OS update, the selfie camera became unbearable! Its so embarrassing to take a selfie with my friends. Literally sucks! Even my mom’s Xiaomi take better selfie than this. Idk what the Camera team of Nothing is doing. I’m not a frequent selfie user but this it’s literally like photos are blurred like grains over smoothened, like in the old small nano mobiles. This is so sad.

Camera picture keep on worsening after the updates , over process the images and background light hazziness also there
