The camera quality is very bad especially the front cam.The details are gone after the dcim kicks in and the rear camera,there is over exposure of light.There is also no way to turn off HDR in camera for photos.

The Nothing Phone (2) has had below-average camera performance since launch, and despite multiple updates, there haven’t been any major improvements. It’s time for Nothing to prioritize camera upgrades. Hope the team addresses this soon!

Guys, I know that you’re working on something interesting, but I wish I could draw some attention. Help us by fixing the camera quality for phone 2. It is really inconsistent and it was not like the quality before. Please consider improving the camera quality also.

barba I own a nothing phone 2a. Just recently my rear camera’s (main) auto focus is not functioning. It happened one night when I switched to portrait mode to took a photo and it was fine, however when I switched it back to the normal photo mode, everything I pointed with my camera was not in focus unless I kept the camera the same distance when I took the last photo while in portrait mode. The camera Len’s focal length apparently stopped at its last position.

The phone 2 camera really need an upgrade specially for the front camera. Also the rear needs improvement in low light. Noticing the quality goes down in low light from both front and rear.

I’ve been experiencing frequent lags while recording videos on my Nothing Phone 2. The camera app often becomes unresponsive, especially when switching between lenses. Taking photos is slightly faster with different lens sizes, but switching to the 4:3 aspect ratio causes significant delays in processing. For a device marketed as a flagship, the camera performance has been quite disappointing.

Additionally, the phone is still stuck on Nothing OS 3.0, while Nothing has already started rolling out OS 3.2. We haven’t even received the 3.1 update yet, which feels frustrating as a Phone 2 users

On a positive note, I haven’t faced any overheating issues—only minor heating when playing games outdoors. Aside from the camera and software update delays, the overall experience has been smooth.

When ever I take photos through my phone 2 , in day light it performs well, but under night or other type of lights the photo outcome is worse . is there a way to improve it

The front camera video on the Nothing Phone 2 looks great while recording — smooth and clear on screen — but the final output is disappointing. The video lacks sharpness, has poor exposure handling, and struggles in low light. Even using third-party apps like Open Camera doesn’t improve the quality — the results remain the same.

We are nothing phone 2 user are also the part of nothing community infact the OGs why nothing is treating phone 2 users like they didn’t exist.

Remeber mr Carl when your phone wasn’t performed in Market well we are the one who support you and buy your overpriced nothing phone 2 we trusted you but what we got a very poor cameras you cmf phone 1 has better then phone 2 camera, the community tab has filled with the request please update the camera improve camera but just because your phone 2a sell very well so you decided to focus on that and ignore us all of us ( phone 2) users we asked for camera update you give us that gallery, private space, password for switch off etc. buddy who need this

I feel ashamed taking my phone out and clicking the picture because a 10k smartphone is taking far more better quality pictures then phone 2 camera

Carl don’t forget that the phone 1 and phone 2 made nothing big not the 2a so listen to us phone 2 need serious camera update
