Phone (2) - Battery Drain Discussion

Hello, I am having same issue with my nothing 2 phone I purchased less than 2 weeks ago.

So i have been facing the issue of inconsistent battery life since I installed the 2.0.4 update. There are days when the battery life is just amazing and then there are days where I would full charge it and then sleep only to find in the morning that somehow 15% of my battery is already gone. Can you please fix this issue?

IshaanKhandelwal i think battery life is preety amazing in NP2 and i can’t complain about the battery at all, i would suggest you to reset your phone and re check it once also make sure to check all the background application to check how they consume your battery at night.

After the 2.0.4 update the battery backup of my nothing phone 2. It’s just Little over 2 months old & Indian Unit

It’s the issue with Mobile network & other background which is eating up a lot of battery.

My usage has always been medium to high.

Please fix this. Did anyone else felt the same.

Anonymous4 I updated when it got released in India. Around a month ago.

The battery life of the Nothing Phone 2 on Android 13 was exceptional. Was heavily impressed with it, given the size of the battery. It was one of the best I had ever seen on an Android phone. Ever since I updated my phone to Android 14/Nothing OS 2.5, the battery life has taken a huge toll. On top of that, the battery stats has gone completely bonkers. It shows wrong data. The screen time which is being shown is massively inaccurate and the idle battery drain is way too much. Had no such battery issues with Android 13/Nothing OS 2.0.

I love this phone. It is one of the best Android devices I have ever used and believe me, I have used tons of them. In a span of 12 months, I typically use 10 phones approximately and this is arguably the best phone yet.

Please look into the battery issues/bugs.

I have no updates pending, hadn’t updated in a while, suddenly at 10 pm my battery drains from 53 to 15 in 5mins??? Nothing related to phone 5G/4G or extraordinary I did in a while.

What is going on??

These posts are quite concerning. I recently got my NP2, and posts like these discourage me from updating it to the latest version.

I have nothing phone 2 with latest os 2.5.1, I’m using YouTube music to listen to music and noticed battary is draining to fast like 5% for listing 20 minutes. Please fix

The battery on A13 was really amazing, but after the NOS 2.5 update there had been degradation. I did battery calibration 2 times still there is no change. I did factory data reset 2 times also. Kindly note this issue, I’m attaching A13 and A14 battery usage stats too.
