Phone (2) - Battery Drain Discussion

Last night, I charged my phone to approximately 85% at 10 PM, expecting it to last throughout the morning. However, when I woke up at 10:30 AM, I was shocked to find that the battery had plummeted to just 14%. This rapid battery drain is a real problem, and I’m struggling to keep my phone charged throughout the day.

To add more context, between the time I charged my phone and the morning when I noticed the drastic drop in battery, I only used my phone lightly for about 1 or 2 hours. This usage should not have resulted in such a significant battery drain.

I’ve been monitoring the battery drainage, and it seems that a significant portion of it is due to network-related activities. To illustrate this issue, I’ve attached a screenshot of the battery drainage graph. It clearly shows that network-related processes are causing the most significant drain on the batter

My Nothing phone 2 drains 10-12 percent battery overnight the battery drain is consistent and i have tried everything turning of “wifi” as well as “data” i don’t know it is specific to my unit

Mobile network is draining more battery even in my phone.

My phone 2 is experiencing too much battery drain even if its on airplane mode, yesterday night it was at 29% and today morning it was at 19% given the fact that there was no app running in the background and the phone was on airplane mode, can anyone help?

DishankRane maybe you have some kind of processus running in the background even if your apps are closed. please share your battery usage

it’s just 4 days and battery is draining like a hell. Is this issue related to any recent updates or something else because i am not able to use my phone whole one day.

Yep it seems that you have a problem with your mobile data, 30% average usage of mobile data is way too high, I’m at less than 10% all the time.
It can happen because of various reasons, some remarks :

• are you using double SIM ?
• it seems with your top bar icons, that you are at the limit of reception, which could be one of the problems. And you double it if you use 2 sims.
• did you try disabling 4G mobile data for a day to see if your battery doesn’t drain ?

Remi F yes i have been using 2 sim and it’s mobile date is turned on for all the time alongside wifi blutooth and location i never turned off that. And 5g is enabled i never turned off it. In my locality i am having issues with the network so i use wifi calling.

I am using Nothing phone 2 and facing low battery backup. It is not lasting for a day also.
