I don’t know what everybody’s vibe is at the moment, but for me personally - I’m over the moon for Nothing. I think about it almost all the time, as I’m slowly getting more and more engaged here in the community. From what I see most of the people are so stoked about what the future holds. I started to wonder why I’m feeling this way for the brand that I’ve just gotten to know. I have never felt this emotional about the future of a company.

Some reflection on what is causing this hype for me personally:

  • Is it the money at stake that makes me feel more caring about this brand than other brands. Do I feel a lot more cuz I own something in nothing (heh lol)? Crowdfunding might be a very nice way to get interactive with the company, and with a community like this - be involved and feeling listened to.
  • Is it the interaction between mgmt and community through nothing.community? I can admit that I feel very close to the company by having @Carl and @Rudi (ofc others aswell from mgmt) reply to whatever you’re writing, interacting with you. Also getting some inside/firsthand information, without getting the full picture? For me this means a lot for me being passionate about the brand.
  • Is it the community itself, vibin’ with all the nice people that spend their time on this forum actually caring for the company, feeling some kind of affinity with others?
  • Is it the unknown, that we’re very close to the company interacting with it without actually knowing what’s for tomorrow? We’re getting some additional information that others don’t have access to, but we’re still left hanging not getting the full picture.
  • Is it receiving the ear (1), investors merch and other stuff that makes me feel this way? Getting the confirmation that the product is of high quality, and also already improving with bug fixes and rumors about the future product line.

Or is it just all the above? Anyhow, I feel very passionate about the brand. Maybe all these things together make me feel this way. In my opinion, Nothing is doing a good job keeping us entertained with all the great news coming our way.

    Well for me it started to feel like this as soon as @Rudi joined and showed that he truly wants to work with us together. Of course all the above points count into it but this was the key point for me 😄

    I’m also active in another community where also the community manager puts a lot of work into it and I feel the same over there while I ignore other “communities” at all where this doesn’t exists.

      Totally agreed. I also think that the tipping point for myself was @Rudi joining. After that, I’ve had a feeling that the community is coming together a lot better and I’ve begun to post more and more. It truly leveled up from “basic” (don’t read bad) to serious. By elevating this community, Nothing have really proven that the community is of great importance. It feels good that Nothing is investing time in members by spending time with them (us).

        The importance that Nothing places on making it’s loyal fans and investors feel appreciated is so refreshing.

        I find the transparent nature of the relationship really exciting, we’re free to ask questions, to provide feedback and even criticize if we feel like it!

          Ah. I too had all those feelings. In fact before @Rudi came to the community, it was torn apart. He came and sticks all the pieces together. I thought it is like any other company who doesn’t care about community. But now my feelings have completely changed. Interacting is the key to any company. NOTHING holds that as of now. I love that.

          I promised myself that I would stay active and be with this company for a long time. I also promised I would buy each and every product of NOTHING, until I own a complete ecosystem ( just how apple does).

          I think its not you, its nothing😋. It has something which attracts everyone. It started with the courage of doing something new in the monotony. Terming it as “diamond in the coal mine” will be too much? Not sure.

          I still remember, @Carl doing Nothing😋 & having ice cream (atleast as per his twitter bio). Following him to finally announce nothing😋 in January had another kick to itself.

          Similar as it is with you, nothing😋 was/is/will be special. Whether it was following, investing, waiting, ordering, unboxing, complaining, cribbing, enjoying, actually nothing😋 feels like family. Too much pun😂

          Coming to the community, it has always remained a exclusive cozy place to interact. As i mentioned in my earlier posts, the community minions finally got their master ( @Rudi aka Gru) making the community even stronger. Tada Bannnanaaa

              I’m overwhelmed with such candid feedback. It’s good vibes all around.

              But as @Carl said, let’s save some of the energy for the hurdles ahead, we’ll need everyone on their toes for the top things we aim to achieve.
