Don’t know when this phone gonna get 90fps it’s almost an year when the phone is released till now no 90fps update for BGMI in this Phone 2 but in Phone 2a getting update for BGMI optimisation……😭😭😭😭

As a customer, i am facing huge problems in gaming especially in BGMI. You should add 90 FPS in BGMI instead of making the Phone premium as the Chip Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 is capable for more than 90 FPS but just give 90 FPS please.

What’s the connection with the BGMI 3.1 update? If you haven’t received the update from the upcoming OTA patch by Nothing,

verify it after receiving the update from the Nothing team. This is what I’ve been informed by the insider team, which moderators are unaware of….

PSYCHO what I meant by that was sometime bgmi itself gives update to certain phones in their event update like for poco phone. my friend didn’t receive any patch from poco itself but from bgmi for 90 fps toggle in last updated 3.0v

PSYCHO I have a questions to ask, if thay provide 90 FPS in game ,for that thay have to increase the performance isn’t it like overclocking the processor,for that u don’t think this this will lead to the major issue like heating , battery draining

Okay one thing why underclocked what’s the point of 8+gen 1 if it was going to be underclocked

Or does it work in hybrid mode type like in gaming to provide seamless experience

The main question is will they make it go over clocked or standard for gaming or heavy task in any update?? Like a toggle system to enable it

VishwanathS_ghante The 8+ Gen1 is more capable of handling the scenario you’re describing.
Even low-budget phones with equipped 8+ Gen1 are running smoothly without any issues and with default 90fps settings in all games including BGMI/PUBG

No what I think is constraining or stopping the chipset from going full power is increasing the heat something like that it’s not working on its full potential. That chip has over 1 million score in the benchmark I don’t think it will heat when going full throttle but it will heat if they constraint it to low ghz

Even nothing phone 2 has vapour cooling system so it will manage if they ever overclock it or gives option to it

I agree that firmware version 2.5.2 has a noticeable performance deficiency. Even the Geekbench scores are not as good compared to the previous 2.5.1 version. Currently, this version has resulted in decreased Antutu scores… and also battery isn’t good comparatively with the previous version.
