Volume button causing freeze

So i own a nothing phone 2. And everything has been pretty good except for this bug. So what happens is sometimes when I press the volume button my phone freezes for a good 10 seconds and then starts working. This started in January after the update and has not been fixed yet. I have reported this, but this issue hasn’t been solved through any of the updates. Anyone else who’s going through this issue?? I didn’t mind it at first but now it’s getting annoying.

ShallonDarwin maybe it’s an issue with the bottom itself, are you tried to go to service center?

No issues here. I use both nothing phone 2 and 2a however whenever I use YouTube in landscape mode it never goes back to portrait mode even after auto rotate

Any solution here, I’m facing the exact situation after updating to nothing os 4.0 in nothing phone 2a.

Media apps will not respond when clicking on volume button and button stays unresponsive, phone screen stays unresponsive, even controlling volume from accessibility menu freeze the screen.

This was happening 2 or 3 times in a day.

After 10 mins device gets auto restart on its own. Or we need to perform hard restart manually.
