Glyphify v2 available on Play Store
Charging alarm is dead with latest update @Fr4nKB
- (Edited)
RedSkul×HYDRA do you have notifications on? Have you tried turning it off and on again? Restarting the phone?
TheDocHudson you can always try it out and the refund if you don’t like it (note that you can refund only once)

Fr4nKB I did. I realised that the app auto kills itself in the BG. I’ve turned off the battery optimisation, still that happens sometimes
RedSkul×HYDRA unfortunately it happens, Android doesn’t like apps running in background (especially if you leave your phone unused for long periods of time, in that case is going to enter doze mode).
The best solution would be to implement all of these features in the OS itself, unfortunately there’s little I can do about it.
Fr4nKB got it mate!
@Fr4nKB Glyphify doesn’t work on OS 3.0 Beta
v2.2 is here
Hope everyone is doing well. Today I’m releasing v2.2 in open beta, this is what you can expect:
New:
Introducing Glyph Near: be warned when a Nothing user is nearby. You can activate it from the settings, it will only work with devices that have Glyphify installed with Glyph Near active (this is for privacy reasons).
Custom battery alarm animations are now supported: use any composition (even the ones made outside of Glyphify) and set it as your battery alarm, the alarm will last at most 5 seconds so if the composition is longer it will be truncated.
Changes:
Improved energy efficiency of Extential
Reworked Extential’s animations
Fixes:
Various issues resolved
Optimizations for Android 15
For those of you on Phone(2) with NOS 3.0, Glyphify now works as expected without Glyph debug mode on: turn it off and reboot the phone.

Together with this, I’m also lowering the price for Indian users from 140 INR to 90 INR.
Credits
Finally, a massive shoutout to @SebiAi who helped me in the debugging process. Go checkout his Glyph Tools, the first composer project outside Nothing’s composer app.
@Fr4nKB Thanks a lot for the promo codes
I hope you and everyone who redeemed a code enjoy the app!
Fr4nKB Great work! Bought the app!
Mirko_ddd It’s not about being able to afford a cup of coffee and a software of the same price. As an app made for a certain community, it’s always really nice if the app is FOS-Free and Open Source. That said, the dev could have added an option to donate. I would’ve been one of the firsts to donate lol.
Can you put an on-off button?
VishuJaiswal the Dev has another discussion where the app (apparently a first version of this app) is free and open source. And yes, softwares are like any other item on the market, can be paid. There’s people’s effort behind apps, do not claim it for free.

@Fr4nKB Hey, nice to meet you and seems like a good app. But unfortunately I won’t be able to pay to get the app at the moment. But will get it soon. Actually I am a developer too. And I also want to make an app that uses glyph development kit but not sure how to use it and which app will I make. Can you help me to move forward with this please? And it would be better if everyone gives suggestions. It would be really helpful and great if someone can help and contribute too in this

mha8 Hi, what dark mode are talking sbout? Glyphify has no control over the system UI theme.
For the charging meter wait for today’s update and tell me if that makes any difference. Be sure to turn it on in the settings, put your phone face down on a flat surface then wiggle it.
Vishwam hey, I’m glad other people want to use GDK. Unfortunately, I’m busy right now so I can’t really explain everything to you.
I think you should make a new thread about this so everyone can give suggestions or address doubts about GDK. GitHub is also a pretty good source, if you look into the issue section you will find useful information.
Fr4nKB Thank you for replying. But for me for making new thread they need to approve first. They aren’t approving. It just shows Awaiting Approval and I have requested API for GDK hopefully they send the API. It would be better if you would help in some or the other way because you have used GDK and this is my first attempt
