muhkuhaushonolulu if you’re not using the “always on” option you need to have your phone in charge, also it has to be on a flat surface and wiggled side to side to activate. Have you done all of this?
Do battery alarms work for you?

It definitely worked in the previous version, I changed some stuff in this one so it could be broken for (2a) as I don’t own one and can’t test for it.

pixcel25 what do you mean by “glyph” alarms? battery alarms in Glyphify are already using the glyph interface, moreover they allow you to use any animation (encoded as a composition in a .ogg file)

Appreciate the update. I’m on Phone 2 and have question about group chat; I can only see 2 of my group chats, is there something I have to adjust to see more?

The Glyph torch widget is nice, but I’m having difficulty adjusting the intensity with accuracy. Edit: Found out that should tap the top or bottom to adjust accordingly.

Thank you for the great work!

Fr4nKB it was connected to a charger, all options were on and it was on a flat surface. Wiggling doesnt show the indicator

        Charging alarm worked btw..

Zigonce no, only alarms regarding battery low/charged

velvetfreak you need to receive a message from someone in the group to make it appear. This is the only way it can be done without giving the app system level access. Keep in mind that I’ve only tested it for Whatsapp and Telegram, if you are using some other app and it doesn’t work let me know.

muhkuhaushonolulu other users have reported this, it seems to be affecting only (2a)s, I’ll look into it asap

Loving the last update!!! Thanks for the work!!!

hydemr Sorry, missed your message. The only possible way is through play store, I’ll explain why: Glyphify uses Nothing’s GDK to access the glyph interface, to use it you need an API key which is tied to the apk’s signature (if you don’t know what it is, it’s the same thing as a person signing some document to demonstrate the authenticity). Since the apk is signed by Google, I cannot distribute the apk myself as it would have a different signature and thus the API key wouldn’t be recognized.

pixcel25 so an alarm clock with custom glyph animations?

            davarpe Thank you😁

              hydemr

activate the app installed from outside of Google Play

It’s possible to “share” the app from one device to another. I have purchased Glyphify on my main phone and transferred the app into my deGoogled phone without Play Store. On Files app, click on the “Apps” category and share the application via QuickShare or any other method.

pixcel25 not in the plans right now, maybe if it’s requested by multiple people

Hardik probably by the beginning of next week, I’m ironing out the last bugs😄

NukaCola the problem is that since the last beta version the application has google play protection, so you need to have the account with which it was purchased on all devices.

Fr4nKB Hey, nice App. I bought it yesterday.

I wish that when playing glyph studio or auto composer files, it shows you a quick visualization of the glyphs on the display.

Sometimes I don’t even realize that it’s playing because I’m in a bright room with my sound off.

                  Great work though.

pixcel25 I would like that too

Like you could make something that slowly lights up to wake you up.

Edit: If possible could you split the nothing phone (2a)'s progress bar into 3 - 2 lights when using the auto composer?

Idk if I’m saying too much, or if this is good feedback for you haha.

I just can’t wait for the widgets of this app to be released.

                    v2.4 is out!

This is the last major release of the year. I focused on some QoL improvements, squashing as many bugs as I (and @SebiAi) could find, and adding some long-awaited features. I also made a FAQ section.

I’ll be taking a little break from this project as I finish my studies, but I’ll still provide minor releases during this period.

The next major update will focus on improving Glyphify Studio, and you can expect it around January 2025.

Thanks to everyone who has supported my work.
I hope we can continue making glyphs useful again next year 🙂

                    Hardik the wait is over😉

RaajVyas Let me know if you like it!
