Can someone tell me how does charging indicator work on phone 2a?

Mirko_ddd In India coffee is, well, nothing. You can buy Coffee in 5 rs or 10 rs, now calculate that for 110 rs app price in India, it can sustain my months of Coffee. But Yeah, we should buy software!

Fr4nKB can you give promocodes atleast please 🥹🥹 I can’t afford money right now 🥲

ArianMondal if the cost of an app is “unsustainable” for your currency you should just give feedback about it. I’m sure any dev in the world will tell you no.

Everyone complaining about the price - shhhhhh. Everyone who is not able to pay in Playstore - maybe the dev could program a downloadable apk with an in-app purchase?

Apart from that I’m eager to see how the battery warn feature activated will influence background battery usage.

@Fr4nKB , what stream are we using to play the charging limit sound? If it’s possible, I’d really like to make a request to configure it. Since Alarm Sound is a stream that is always unmute and mostly untouched, I’d really like to use that.

      Hey 👋

Just wanted to say again, congrats on this project. I’ve followed along since the beginning and you really have created something great here.

Regarding the price, unfortunately there are still a lot of people who don’t believe in paying for software and that can be for genuine reasons, and unfortunately some illegitimate reasons. Ultimately this app is severely underpriced imo.

I haven’t yet had a chance to check out V2 as I’m still on V1 but when my schedule frees up I’ll be sure to do so.

      Keep up the great work.

RedSkul×HYDRA Right now it’s using the normal media stream, I’ve tried using the notification stream but the OS was displaying animations on top of Glyphify’s animations so that’s why I’m using media stream.
I’ve just tried switching to alarm stream and it doesn’t seem to have problems, if everything goes ok I’ll make change it to alarm stream permanently as it makes much more sense. Thanks for the input!

Derren Thanks a lot Derren! I know paid apps are not popular nowadays but personally I’d prefer to spend a little bit of money one time than dealing with ads or subscriptions.

Another quick question, apologies if this has been answered.

With the battery alarm is it possible to add the ability to set it to any percentage rather that 60% as the lowest? With the introduction of the charging limit I don’t need to be notified when my device reaches 80% however I would love to know when my device has critical battery as I find the default notification for this to be poorly implemented and sometimes I don’t even think I get notified when my battery is low.

            Derren
That feature you are referring to is only present on Phone(2a) as of right now but, even if I had the possibility of using it, I’d rather be informed the battery has reached the limit and device can be unpuggled (that’s just me I guess).

Anyway, I could add it as a separate feature but I would have to experiment first on how much battery such a feature consumes. I’ll see what I can do😁

Fr4nKB that’s a very fair comment. I guess with the current implementation you don’t have to worry too much about battery since the device will still be plugged in while it alerts you.

With critical battery you could always set it up to wave or pulse at different speeds.

For example at 20% you could have it pulse a handful of times slowly and then stop. Then again at 10 or 15% a little bit faster but again only a handful of times to conserve battery. Yes you may miss it sometimes if it’s not continuous but if It goes off at at least 2 or 3 different intervals, you’re likely to notice it at least once and you’ll be able to tell based on the speed of the pulse which threshold it met. And worst case scenario you miss all of them which is basically the same as the current default notification anyway 😂

Or you could have a portion of the glyph segment flash at 20% and then a smaller portion flash at 10 or 15%. You could even make that 10 and 20% of the glyph segment that flashes.

I dont get it why so many people here complain about the pricing of this great app. The dev was working hard on this and shouldn’t justify the paid version.

                Stay fair!

BE THANKFUL Y’ALL CAN SIDELOAD APPS. Imagine if google did same thing with android, y’all be yelling at google. he made the app. so he has the right if he wants to charge or make it free. it takes time and headache to make an app. you want just free stuff. appreciate what you have. if you cant pay, dont use it? simple as that?

If you want it more customized, learn coding and make an app however you want for free.
