Hello! I just downloaded the Glyphify app from the play store. I’m on the phone 1 running os 3.0. Currently each time I try to load a file, either from my drive or natively from the phone, I keep getting the “failed at extracting beats” error. I’ve tried restarting the phone, clearing cache/data and Ive tried .wav, .mp3, mono/stereo files.

Is there anything else I could try or do? Would it be better if I discussed this with support through email? Any assistance is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

bomboy Hi, unfortunately this problem affects Phone(1)s and it’s not something I can totally fix myself as it depends on a package used by Glyphify but mainted by another guy. I tried many times to find workarounds and I made the situation better but still isn’t fixed 100%. Everytime you get that message you need to:

    • Close the app, long press on it and force stop it
    • Clear app cache
    • Repeat 2-3 times just to be sure
    • Ensure you have only Glyphify active so other apps don’t use too much system resources

I hope you understand, I’m trying my best to make it work but as I said it doesn’t depend on me

I had an Idea: Have the charging-meter also be able to show battery of connected Bluetooth devices

Fr4nKB I have tried this on my phone and it is not working. It was all fine until it was 2.6 but upgrading to 3.0 has made the app useless.

Hey guys! Here are some sounds from the Dino Crisis game for our Nothing phones customized with Glypify. I hope you like them. Greetings!

bomboy Wolverine Good news, a patch will be released shortly.

gceric If you have Discord you can post these on the apposite Glyphify channel under the community projects channel😁

Fr4nKB thank you, the new update is perfect. Tried a few ringtones and it’s good.

The charging meter only worked for the first days for me, after that I could only make it run by enabling always on. But if I turn always on off again. It stops running after a few days. Can you help me?

AkikaNeverlasting ensure the song doesn’t contain a silent portion or the prelude in the first 10 seconds, it has to have some kind of rythmic instruments (e.g. drums) otherwise it won’t work

David never heard of such problem before, waht phone are you using?

I have an 2a. It still works today, I will update you when it stops working again.

How can i synchronise a beat with glyphs and use it as a ringtone?

Merged 2 posts from Glyph Synchronisation .

I have noticed that glyph switch button(the one that turns glyph functionality on and off) doesn’t seem to work on glyphify glyph implementation. Is it possible to make the app work with it, or SDK doesn’t have such functionality?

Fr4nKB Hey today is the day the glyph charging light stopped working. I didnt open the Glyphify app once in that time. It took 9 days for the light to not function again.
Here are the steps I do to fix it:
                    1. Go into Glyphify and activate always on, while my phone 2a is charging.
                    2. I lock my phone, unplug and plug my charger.
                    3. I go into Glyphify again and disable always on.

AgentY The SDK does not support this. If I ever get in contact with Nothing’s dev team maybe I can work something out.

David Ok, I’ll look into this when I have more time, thanks!
